I'm 64 years of age and I've seen many bands in my time. From Pink Floyd, Queen, U2, Rolling Stones, Metallica amongst others. The technology has changed so much in relation to the stage lighting throughout the year's and I must say that the concert Coldplay performed on the pyramid stage was absolutely incredible.... Flippin fantastic.. So many questions to ask, such as, how did those wrist bands the audience were wearing all light up different colours exactly the same time? How did the technician's manage to project on the outside of the framework of the pyramid stage? And the multi coloured dayglow colours were flippin fantastic... Well done Coldplay for putting on a phenomenal performance to a brilliant audience....

There's an engineer making it possible,they change colors at different parts of songs,like yellow song has yellow wrist band lights, Charlie brown,paradise have some of the most beautiful combinations. You can watch "Coldplay live 2012" documentary to know about wrist bands

I dunno, Pink Floyd's Pulse tour was something else, and waaaaay before it's time. Pre concert too, they had an array of weird and wonderful sounds for those who turned up early. I still think PL trump them. Don't think anyone comes close to PL for the sound(s) as a whole. You feel the songs.
