      Praise God! Congrats! I'm constantly surprised, even after 2 years, at how beautiful the images coming out of the XH1 can be. Especially given the price (and extra especially vs the price of other used Fujifilm cameras), it punches way above it's weight! Let me know when you start sharing videos, and if I can lend any advice/inspiration! God bless!

    Very nice video, im still thinking wether this camera is good for content creator, can you give some suggestion ?

    • @nigelianzamora
      @nigelianzamora  5 месяцев назад +1

      If you're a solo content creator, the biggest drawback is that there's no flip screen, and the auto focus is only OK. The battery life isn't good either. The biggest strength is that it can look really good straight out of camera, and is relatively inexpensive. I just discovered that you can also record in 4:2:2 (8-bit) with an external recorder - which means that the footage can look better than what I've shared on my channel. Internally it can only record 4:2:0.
      To be honest - most modern cameras are really good, and you can probably shoot amazing footage on any of them. What sort of videos are you planning to make?

    • @mohdkhirullah4103
      @mohdkhirullah4103 5 месяцев назад +1

      4:2:2 8 bit recording i think is sufficient enough for content creator,im into taking photos for product,
      Short cinematic video for product,
      Does it have f-log profile in the camera ??

    • @nigelianzamora
      @nigelianzamora  5 месяцев назад

      @@mohdkhirullah4103 I agree. I've been (unintentionally) shooting in 4:2:0 and it looks good, so 4:2:2 would be just fine.
      Yes, you can shoot in F-log. I've used it, and it's good.
      I really like the X-H1, with the things I mentioned being the main drawbacks. The IBIS is also a little sketchy - with this sort of "catch up" motion that I really don't like. When paired with an OIS lens though, it's pretty good.
      For photos, it's really good too. I think this camera was slept on, and get's overlooked, but it's a good value at it's current price points.

      Glory to God! Thanks so much! I'm assuming you're picking up an XH1!!! The other day, I was checking out different used Fujifilm cameras, and it's kind of amazing how inexpensive XH1's are compared to other models. I don't really know why that is, or if it's going to change. I'm still super thankful that my first interchangeable lens camera was an XH1. Thanks again for watching! Check out my other vids - like Silence, and let me know what you think!

    Amazing work! Do you shoot using Eterna or f-log?

    • @nigelianzamora
      @nigelianzamora  Год назад +1

      Glory to God! Thank you, Derek! This is Classic Chrome, with color +4(I think. It might be +3), shadow +1, and I think highlights and sharpness are both -1. I think Eterna is great, and I've only used F-Log a little, but should probably use it more, and learn to grade footage better. To be honest, I think Classic Chrome works great for video. I'd be interested to see you test it with that recipe and see what you think!

    • @nigelianzamora
      @nigelianzamora  Год назад +1

      I thought I should add, this was 24fps with a shutter speed of 60, which was an accident in all honesty, but I think it made a difference that I actually like.

      @@nigelianzamora I'll have to give it a try) Love your channel, still the x-h1 is a bit of an outsider from the fuji camera world, everyone buys XT-, fujifilm x100, X-Pro and so on. The X-H1 has somehow been overlooked. But it was the one I bought thanks to your channel.

    Is this camera hard to use? I want to get a good camera for filming more seriosly

    • @nigelianzamora
      @nigelianzamora  Год назад +1

      In my experience - the XH1 is a very accessible, "user-friendly" camera. That is - the form factor is nice for a mirrorless camera; it's solid, and has some decent weight. The button layout is good. The menu's are relatively easy - although a couple times, or once in while, I'll have to figure out where a certain, seldom-used option is. The footage speaks for itself. Everything on my channel is shot with an XH1, and is almost always straight out of camera. The number one thing that's a drawback to me - is that stabilization is "challenging." That is - I really dislike micro-jitters in footage, and I feel like they're noticeable on the XH1. Now, to be fair - the XH1 is the only mirrorless camera I've used for video - so I don't have a comparison, and other mirrorless cameras may perform similarly. Thanks for checking this out! God bless!
