Loved all your choices. Some were already in my queue, and I added several more.

Another great video Nicole! I love Marina Skua patterns and have test knit for her multiple times. She also has her own line of yarn that I've used, which is wonderfully woolly - both Fingering & DK that wear like iron (no pilling). You will really enjoy knitting her designs! I also love my Corran Cardigan that I made short sleeved for summer in a wool/cotton blend. I'd like to cast a long sleeved version for Fall in all wool, and already had the Moonset pullover favorited. Happy knitting!

This summer, I did the coran cardigan by creabea and tested for Audrey the Oleander sweater. Both patterns are super simple to do! The Oleander is easier than it looks. The pattern is super clear to understand, and Audrey is so sweet that will for sure help you if you need it! ❤

Please stay safe - from a fellow Floridian (Cape Coral). Will look forward to seeing your next podcast to know you made it through. We all have PTSD from last year. Sigh.

Dan, Zach (my little black and white cat), and I are safely out of the way of the storm. Tampa Bay will have some dicey weather, but we dodged a bullet. Regardless, my family and I decided to go to West Palm for the rest of the week so we wouldn't have to deal with no power or AC. 😊
I hope you and yours are safe and sound as well! ❤️

We are seasoned survivors. All is well, bullet dodged for us. This time! Glad you bolted. 👍🏻

In regards to learning to knit stranded color work flat, have you seen Martin Storey’s Midwinter Blanket KAL going on over at Rowan right now? It’s free after signing up, and the blanket is made up of 6” square blocks knit flat in stranded color work with video tutorials. You could practice with dk yarn scraps and make a few blocks without a big commitment. From what I can tell, it’s a good learning pattern that is far less scary than tackling a pieced Marie Wallin sweater nor as fiddly as the Scout Shawl.

I enjoyed your pattern review. I'm currently knitting the Helix Raglan in Patagonia color Juniper. I love the cable detail at the raglan! Not sure what my next knit will be, but I'm leaning towards a cardigan. 😊

What is that cabled fabulousness behind you? Great choices in patterns too just found you and subbed

There are 2 cabled beauties behind me:
      1) The Golden Hall Shawl (the brass/gold color shawl)
      2) King Under the Mountain Shawl (the grey)
Both are my designs! Golden Hall is on Ravelry, King Under The Mountain is coming in September. 😊
