Hello again friend, you were missed. Hope you are getting used to your new digs by now. I live in Montana and love winter. It's so awesome to snuggle up in wool. I'm looking forward to your new sweater series. How generous of your friend to give us more information on sweater math!

As someone who binges on many a knitting podcasts, yours is my favorite. Looking forward to sweater school, the side adventures and everything in between! Btw, I Am No Pullover is still my favorite placeholder.

    👍🏻 LOVE that Slumber color!
(It’s a dead ringer for ‘Sandman’ from Rise of the Guardians!)

Soooo excited that you are planning a Stolen Silverspoons Lite. Since I no longer winter in the north, I only knit fingering weight sweaters. I love that design! Glad to see you podcasting again. Wish you only the best in Baltimore. Sorry Purdue wasn't the best for you. I'm a Purdue grad (ChE) from before you were born.

Welcome back fellow artist! From someone who has clawed herself up from the bottomless pit, the creative process is certainly a good therapy for getting back on track!
Just think how lucky you are to be closer to Maryland Sheep and Wool 😂 I’m sure there are knitters groups near you. If not, you are welcome to join ours in Carlisle, PA! Hugs from central PA

I am so happy to see you again! Big hug and though it is simple to say, but sometimes not to do; don't panic! Moving is tough. My remedy is tea and biscuits, knitting and a large dose of anything Tolkien either on screen or listening.

I think you and I could be good friends. 😁 When the video started, I thought, oh no, she doesn't want to do this. By the end, you were happy and silly. I hope it feels amazing to be back!

For my bday I was gifted a Knit Picks gift card and I just purchased some Shire Heather for a cable cardigan I am going to make. Your piece looks lovely.

Lor's yarns are amazing!! I made a shawl from her Laima base and it is the best thing I have ever knit.

Nice to see you back here! I've certainly got experience with with pit, both falling in and tentatively edging around it constantly worrying about my footing. For me, fiber arts have a been a HUGE help in taking a couple nice-sized steps back from the pit. I can rarely remember feeling so stable and happy in my life, as I have the past 1.5 years of doing fiber arts. I hope sweater school allows you take a couple steps away from it too. I look forward to hearing more about it. (This is Christina Y, from my new podcast account.)

So good to see you again! You have talked about so many topics that it would take me an hour to comment on all. So just a few points 1) if I would move like +1500 km from my current home it would take me a lot of time to get settled again. So take your time. 2) I am very much looking forward to sweater school. 3) Are there also crocheters and crochet designers on your discord server? 4) I have looked at babycat yarns and others taht you mention but being in Europe, buying from them is waaaay out of my budget and (to be honest) not worth the money. I don't mean the money spend on the yarn but the money spend on transport and taxes and import duties. So I have been looking at Hobbii and Holst and I would love to see you give us some alternatives that you think are good for your designs. 5) looking forward to the cowl and stolen spoons light. Thank you for your video, Anna from Belgium

Thank you! When I use Baby Cat Yarn, it's 100% merino. That means that any merino yarn of the same weight is a good alternative. Holst and Hobbii are also great alternatives for all of my designs, even though they're not 100% merino. For example, I've used Knit Picks in 2 designs (The Golden Hall and Stolen Silver Spoons) and Hobbii would be a perfect substitute for that! Their DK would also work wonderfully in I Am No Man. And Holst would be great for The Chiefest Calamity - it's a perfect colorwork yarn. 😄
There aren't crochet designers yet, but they are welcome! And there are plenty of folks who crochet on the main server.
