Going to look Great ! And the Old stand will remain until the last minute, which is good planning and all the remaining seats put in during the closed season.
@nicmonberg5974 Closing the stand affects revenue and attendance figures on match days. It's the best option we have considering there's nowhere other than the NSC at Crystal Palace to build a new stadium and Bromley council were never ever going to support that.
@@eaglenate untrue i bet if you work out the time it would take to do the work with fans and without the speed up would make it better cost wise. Building this single stand is far more affordable than rebuilding the entire stadium. Firstly due to requiring less construction and secondly because it allows the club to remain at home for the duration of the works, so no need to shell out to play elsewhere.
Have you seen Man Utd’s detailed and final stadium plans with rendered Architect pictures and compared it to this one? Because no one else has. The only thing everybody knows is that they’re planning to either renovate Old Trafford OR knock it down completely and build a brand new one. That’s it. By that time you’ll be one of those that will call it “One of the best stadiums in the League/world.”
Since the Tottenham hotspur stadium was built the Admission prices have been Horrifying as they are with the new Fulham riverside stand - palace fans beware 😟
as a brighton fan this stand looks good but only thing is it doesnt go well with the rest of the stadium as this is curved and the other stands are rectangular
Hope they use better contractors than Liverpool with Rayner Rowen doing Anfield Road stand 😂 3 years and still not finished, meant to be this summer but I'm not holding my breath
It's bollocks we are putting lipstick on a pig, the ground still not big enough to compete at the top end, I wonder how much the season tickets will go up? What compensation is he offering to the season ticket holders in the whitehorse lane end that will be moved?
similar but at 2.51 you see the design changes. Think that the legal stuff has finally been solved with Sainsbury’s and compulsory purchase order for a house.
In my opinion, Selhurst Park should be demolished and redevelopment for some project. Crystal Palace FC should comeback to Crystal Palace Park with 40000 capacity in The Crystal Palace
Go on, turn it into a silver/gray round LED covered spaceship stadium like every other team…. It’s depressing that we’re losing the history & individuality of our stadiums. These new builds/redesigns are all the same style
Seeing is believing! They should also replace the roof over the AW those posts ansd Tv gantry make Selhurst park one of the worst away stand views in the premier league. I'd be peeved if i was season ticket holder at the back of the AW!
Going to look Great !

Not good planning at all makes the job take longer also higher cost.

Cool. I actually think Selhurst Park has one of the best atmosphere's in the PL.
Cannot wait for this stand long time coming CPFC❤
Looking very smart, great design👍
Omg it’s actually happening
Awesome and so cool
No more Mr. Nice Steve Parish
Wow, the building work is really coming along fast. Oh, wait …
i want to visit old selhurst before this starts
Sameeeeee
How cools that !
nice.. hope to see further improvements on the other remaining stands..
Same!
Looks fantastic. Will the new stand include a tv broadcast point to replace what is currently there and reduce sun glare when on TV?
Looks amazing 🦅
When ground is broken I’ll believe it’s happening
Looks fantastic!
It's definitely going to be right up there with some of the best grounds in the Championship when it's finished.
Looks boss that lads. Good luck.
If it means ill be able to get some tickets, sure go at it
Nice little stand that, bit different!
Nice, I’ll look forward to seeing that on Liverpools visit 👍
Anfield Road stand looks 💩 mate they couldn't even match the roof with the main stand. And 3 years to build half a stand 😂
Couldn’t they knock all of Wooderson close down? Lived there for 20 years! Hated every minute of it🤣🤣🤣
Liar

With all that land would you not be better off rotating the pitch 90 degrees and allowing more space for the other stands to be developed?

Looks good 🦅
Like the main stand at the John Smith's stadium.
Will there be a "Last Stand" like we did for the Holmesdale end?
Hope they have a plan to modernize the whole stadium
Nice 😍😂👊🌞
Gonna look great against the 70s side stand
All well and good showing us what you are looking into doing but is work actually meant to starting this summer?
This is very similar to what Liverpool did to their Main Stand, it will look great when finished!
Mate please make sure the tunnel entrance is centered!
not even a palace fan but this looks 🔥
Palace imo have real potential to become one of the top 4 clubs in london in years to come could over stake spurs on the pitch
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Nice, looks a bit like the Amex!
Nice!
Thats beautiful and so pleased stadiums are no longer copying the 90s old trafford look
Is this the stand that the dugout is currently on or is this the side that houses the away fans?
as a brighton fan this stand looks good but only thing is it doesnt go well with the rest of the stadium as this is curved and the other stands are rectangular
I love a good fantasy video
About time
When does construction start,taking forever.
It looks okay, but what about the rest of the building? If you’re going to remodel a new structure you might as well get rid of the old
I live in Bungalow Road and I'm dreading the noise and traffic chaos of construction.
They need to do the whole stadium like the new main stand
I want the corners filled out and connected to the holmesdale surely this is not out of reach aswell?
Watch the video to the end 😊 ❤💙
… or as far as 1.51mins and you’ll see
@@derosabike haha just did and I hope they actually deliver now lol we saw this video a couple years ago so still quite cautious haha
Old stand should be preserved in the British museum 😅
👏👏👏
grand designs
Will the club shop be relocated or still be situated where it is?
how long will Sainsburys be closed?
😮
🦅🦅💙❤️🦅🦅
Looks like it'll increase the capacity by about 200
Smart though
+8000.... smart financially
IF it happens EVER.heard all this years ago
I am a L.F.C supporter. This stand looks way better than the Anfield rd stand. Good work.
What end is it going to happen?
Are they going to get rid of Sainsbury's?
Main stand. Sainsbury's end not massively affected
Presume they'll expand the other stand in front of Sainsbury's next.
Must say it looks good. How long will all this take?
28.2 minutes.
They should move old stand to training ground to preserve it
If you're named Crystal Palace, then you must play in a crystal palace
Exactly
Will Ted Lasso and Jamie Tartt be opening the stand ?
Is the tunnel going to stay in the corner?
I'm fairly sure they are moving the dressing rooms to inside the new stand so they will walk out there
Currently the poorest stadium in the top two divisions. This may help a bit, but whole ground needs redevelopment.
Build and build and one day the core will split
ground sharing with AFC Richmond?
What’s going to happen to all the centenary bricks with names on? I have one and so does a couple of my family members
Hope they use better contractors than Liverpool with Rayner Rowen doing Anfield Road stand 😂 3 years and still not finished, meant to be this summer but I'm not holding my breath
Beautiful architecture and reminds me of the new Anfield redevelopment
Except this is quite nice looking and the new Anfield stands are ugly
Same architect.
So long as Sainsbury’s stays!😂
But the Arthur Wait stand can remain a pigsty!
They should also check on the tunnel
It's bollocks we are putting lipstick on a pig, the ground still not big enough to compete at the top end, I wonder how much the season tickets will go up? What compensation is he offering to the season ticket holders in the whitehorse lane end that will be moved?
Need to expand the other 2 stands
And watch the prices for games and season tickets rocket
Didn’t get do the same video about 7 years ago 😂
But future is promising

Well that’s good
Yep.bet it hits another snag
Come on Richmond!
Hasn't selhurst park got a sainsburys store there . Is that going ?
It does. It's right by the club shop & box office. I'm wondering the same myself
Court still 100x64 or 105x68 ?
Looks like the AMEX..
Looks similar to the Riveraide Stand at Craven Cottage.
Riverside
Not really.
How bigger capacity gonna be?
Phase 1 has to be to update the cladding
In my opinion, Selhurst Park should be demolished and redevelopment for some project. Crystal Palace FC should comeback to Crystal Palace Park with 40000 capacity in The Crystal Palace
It was proposed but Bromley council said no
Surely the opposite stand needs doing ? The back of that stand is like being in the 1950’s ..
Go on, turn it into a silver/gray round LED covered spaceship stadium like every other team…. It’s depressing that we’re losing the history & individuality of our stadiums. These new builds/redesigns are all the same style
Need to expand the other two stands too. Too small
Has this car been chipped do you know? Maybe that's the issue with it clearly running too hot
Seeing is believing! They should also replace the roof over the AW those posts ansd Tv gantry make Selhurst park one of the worst away stand views in the premier league.
I'd be peeved if i was season ticket holder at the back of the AW!
Looks like are main stand at Liverpool but not as not as big are holds 21 000 fans
So what's happening to sainsbury's after all these posh bars and 8 shirt stores
Is this in real time?
Don’t think so it’s pretty quick to build an entire stand in 2 minutes and 50 seconds
??😂😂
In real time the video would be about 10 years long.
Plastic subbuteo stadium 🏟
Free chicken opening day👍
When just work start exactly
Probably cost ye 4 or 5 PTS from the premier League... by just trying to compete with other stadiums and clubs....looks great though
Three more corners to go
Looks like the Amex 😂 good luck about time you had a decent ground
Other stands should be altered too
Is anything happening with thedodgey stand facing it? oneof the worst views in top flight football
