Yeah I got to say that's impressive. I know they're both at least in their 40s. When you watch the science room sketches where Mikey day and Cecily Strong are playing the teenagers on The Science Show they both really come across as teenagers. But then they can turn around and play the most adult adults. Honestly Cecily Strong can play whatever she wants and really Mikey day probably can too really
Being born between 1980 and 1984 helps (Day was born in 1982 and McKinnon two years later).

That was nervous laughter for the cutie pie paul bit, because the character he is playing is supposed to feel uncomfortable that the host keeps calling him that. His reaction is pretty much spot on for how any person would act in that situation if they felt the way about that situation that the character in the skit did (uncomfortable)

@@PTMG DEFINITELY a break lol. I disagree about it really fitting the character, but more importantly, he literally snickers after the camera is off of him because he's trying not to laugh out loud. It's a hilarious break though and there's nothing wrong with breaking.

The idea for this sketch was so hilarious & random. I imagine the writers, “let’s have a sketch with a show like the newlywed game but for parents/kids & for fun we’ll throw in some cult members with a toxic mother son relationship.” 😂

This might be my new favorite sketch because everyone is so great in it. Amy and Leslie both had such great reactions, Pete was great as always even with know having a couple lines, and Kate McKinnon gave Norma Bates a run for her money. Just such great talent all around

@Julianna SNL has been replicating real life situations for a long time. Comedy can be dark. I believe that sometimes it’s to make us not to forget about the awful things in life. Just like in the movie Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri, the monologue Frances McDormand’s character says to the priest. I loved it! I certainly don’t want people to forget about the awful truth about what has been going on in the catholic dioceses for eons.
Why is it so taboo to see/hear about incest, and young boys being molested by priests?

I was uncomfortable when I was born.
This was about as disturbing as the skits where an adult was acting like a 13-year-old at a slumber party, and at a birthday party who has an intense crush on her friend's dad. I like most of the other skits way better.
