From Toxteth but live in Denmark, every time I go home I do my utmost to get a ticket, normally get one but it's usually a nightmare of begging, borrowing and stealing!
You mentioned Ticketmaster, Ped. Fun fact... One of the original founders of Ticketmaster is Tommy Higgins from Sligo. He is now the chairman of Sligo Rovers, the club we got Seamus from. Small World!
Personally I think they should have added more seats in the new ground. I think they would sell 60K every game.

Great discussion. Totally agree about the capacity being 60,000. After all if there are 30,000 fans on the season ticket waiting list, then the ground is certain to be full anyway, including 'walk up'.
One point that wasn't discussed concerns the opening of the new stadium. What if the new owners insist on it being ASAP in order to generate more income? Surely then it would happen, say in January.
Keep hearing there is a 30000 waiting list, yet stood in the ground against Soton on Carabao to 7000 empty seats, the numbers dont add up
@@johnbarton3252 Same as Palace at home last season last few tickets only sold on the day. Big games will sell others will be meh.
I know what you are saying but for me the issue is those 7000 seats were most likely sold so the club are happy, people are sat on tickets to sell at profit on ticket websites you can double the value of a ticket weekly and make money, some have multiple tickets and for the games they don’t sell they are ok as made enough profit on other tickets. Even the resale site on the club website the tickets disappear in seconds and re-appear on a live football tickets or a stub hub at more than face value. These companies don’t realise that people aren’t going to pay them £100 to watch everyone v Southampton on a Tuesday night on a waiting list or not on a waiting list.
What we learned today . Foreigners visiting Everton from overseas are diehard Evertonians. Foreigners visiting Liverpool from overseas are tourists. 😏
Would it be possible to convert yhe disablitiy sections at the south end back to full terrace if the opporuntiy arrose?.just doesnt look right.

It COULD be the start of a great new era. COULD being the keyword. It could also go completely pear shaped. Let's hope! I'm not getting too excited as i've been through all of these emotions before back in 2016/17 when Moshiri promised us the world but then almost destroyed the club.
They have done a feasibility study on how many people are going to go to the stadium its big enough we now have or will have 9 American owners only need 5 more for a majority and then the fun will start .
Look at how the NBA the NFL run there stadiums and that will tell you in the long run we’re it’s heading they make money on there stadiums
Need to get 10,000 fans in the safe standing area so the gate is 62,000 so will generate more income!

This takeover could go either way. The multi club model isn't one I am particularly fond of as I can't see why they would put Everton's intrest ahead of Roma's but at least they have some money to plug the hole in Evertons finances.
The Premier League is where the money is. It would be a lot more profitable for Everton to be successful than Roma.

On the tickets issue i hope we dont get like liverpool and only have 39% off fans at anfield from merseyside
of all the lucrative deals to be had, i wish we could afford to keep the naming rites to the club, so we could decide on a name ourselves. I dont really want a corporate named staduium.

@@martinjohncassidyCASSIDY They would not get anywhere near 70,000 the biggest average gate was 58.000 in the early sixties and that’s when football was affordable and there was standing on four sides of the ground they have done a feasibility study on this that’s why the attendance is 54 000

The prices will go up all around the stadium now we have American owners that’s the way they run stadiums you might pay the same price for a ticket but you won’t be sitting in the same seat you will be up with the gods that’s how the Americans price there seating the further way the cheaper the nearer the more expensive you won’t get anywhere near 50 000 season ticket holders it will be to exspencive
If seats don't sell out how do you stop someone buying a "bad" seat and sitting in a "good" seat?
@@JayEFC1969 There will be different priced areas so if you are in that area you will all have paid the same price Americans make there money on Stadiums the prices will go up you will stay pay the same amount but you will be a lot further away from the pitch The problem with the PL it’s becoming more exclusive than inclusive now people can’t afford to go when in the sixties everyone could afford it
Does the 4,000 hospitality brigade come out of the existing 32,000? We need to go to 42,000 and make 10000 new ST holders because I want my season ticket…I’ve waited for years and I shouldn’t have to pay a premium when I’m a Scouser and live in the city and have to pay silly money to go to all of the Goodison games. £55 for every home game. I won’t be going the shop…the only shop I’ll be going to is the pawn shop to keep me head above water!!

As for myself, there are positives to Textor ownership like ambition and communication which Ped can't be bothered with as he's far too enamored with having a dispassionate, business-like corporate entity like TFG owning the club. Perhaps they will do a fine job, but Roma not exactly covering themselves in glory of late. As for "calm", not arsed about that. Be as chaotic as you want, just win games, climb the table, and push for Europe is what I care about. COYB UTT
Live in Weymouth last game Watford when we were spanked. Four year olds grandson first game. Nine hour journey on the Friday hotel etc. Since covid cant get tickets. Hoping for Brentford. Used to watch Alan Ball from boys pen. Season ticket holder when they got Kendall etc

Very happy, it had to happen we have been through a lot as fans , further decline would have been horrible. Personally I want to see the back of some players who are not good enough at this level . Dyche for me has stuck by his favourites even though they gave rubbish. He cannot be allowed to do that and needs to wake up or he is gone

Friedkin is a wee bit of a bampot lads! He sacked Roma club legend di Rossi after 4 games after just giving him a massive long contract! 🫣🤒
That to me shows strength not weakness! Players didn’t want to play for him, fans were turning against him, so I think it shows a good reading of his club! We have stuck with Dyche when we should have got shut at end of last season 6 games won since dec 2023!
Following Peds logic, do away with all season tickets and make even more money! Not likely but equally not fair if non of the 30000 on the waiting list get a season ticket.

I gave up a season ticket in 2001 as I worked away, now I have been on the list for years, I try to get a ticket on resale if I can but if not I get a ticket from a website. The issue is a lot of those season tickets you keep including as hard core fans are owned by people who just want to sell at a profit every week. I got two tickets last year for top balcony as was meeting someone there. The ticket came for main stand. I called stub hub and they said don’t worry we will speak to them. They are in Finland. The people in Finland said they have no top balcony left but had tickets for 3 other stands and I can choose. I was paying +50% face value to get a ticket from people who have no interest in going. Sort that out and we can all have a season ticket and enough tickets for walk ups.
