I adore driving and watching driving videos. Beautiful city I live in a small market town with a 200 yard high street so city driving is out for me. Great to watch for a new driver to see how its done in a calm and controlled manner.
Good Morning ADS, I passed my driving test with just 2 minors few days ago and I’m so over the moon thanks to all your help & support! I appreciate the videos as they were extremely helpful, good luck to everyone doing their tests too 🙌👏💜
Great video. I passed my test in 1988, never had an accident that was my fault and my licence remains clean. That's due to safety always being paramount, always. Even though I have been driving a long time, you can never stop learning and ADS videos are a fantastic way to keep up to date, gain knowledge and stay safe. Thanks.
Great video. Goes to show that you don’t need to be in a rush all the time, which in turn makes for a better driving experience 😊 a good insight to the roads around BSE too! 🖤
Thank YOU for such an amazing video. Even though I won't be visiting The UK in any near distant future your videos are really and indirectly show beautiful towns. Thanks again
Passed my test today! I watched your videos and they were so informative and easy to understand, truly helped me pass my test. Thank you, Advanced Driving School!!
Thanks for this well informative video. I appreciate the video as they were very helpful to me for my up coming test on Monday 21st. Thanks once again.
Hi Advance driving school team. It was really a wonderful video to understand how to learn to drive in UK roads. You peoples are really doing fantastic jobs... Please also demonstrate urban and non urban roads driving..
Most of our videos are filmed in an urban area, but we have made a few videos in the countryside. Here is one: Flooded country lanes: ruclips.net/video/Gh0tKhb5P5w/видео.html 👍🏼
I watch your exam ones I've took to then quickly because of your normal videos also I've suggested them to neighbour to look you up while lessons are off .
Very nice sir,plz upload video on left side and right side judgement and ensuring the car is in straight position.Parallel and reverse parking and uphill drive when it starts rolling back....
Wouldn't you still have priority at 11:49 since you're turning left and the oncoming vehicle is turning right? Obviously the other driver may not comply. Very informative and helpful content as always
May I ask what kind of camera mount on the side window is that? Amazing POV perspective, much better than using a head strap! But isn’t it obstructing the view a bit?
I'm curious, at around the 23:35ish mark why did you choose to put the car in sport mode? Does it change quite a lot in how the car handles, or is the throttle more sensitive and easier to manage at more subtle levels? Thanks for the video!
On this car selecting sport mode changes 3 things - the steering gets heavier, the accelerator pedal is more sensitive, and it also opens a valve in the exhaust for a deeper sound. I switched mode so the engine sound could be heard better for the video ;-)
12:38 "The mirror-signal-manoeuvre routine to ensure it's safe." I've never been quite clear what you might spot in the mirror to make the manoeuvre (left turn) unsafe. I can think of maybe bikes coming up the inside, but is there anything else that you might spot that'd mean you should abort the turn?
For a left turn it might be a vehicle very close behind us (so we would need to brake more gently) or a cycle to our left (so we would delay or abort the left turn). For other manoeuvres there might be other dangers - even after driving for 30 years it's amazing what dangerous manoeuvres other drivers attempt. Just today we saw a BMW swerve from the overtaking lane on a dual carriageway across two lanes of traffic into a slip road - madness!!!
'Patience' means: The capacity to accept or tolerate delay, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious. 'Anticipate' means: Guess or be aware of what will happen, and take action in order to be prepared. If you think about it, these are two different things - but they are both very useful skills when driving!
At 10:05, I disagree with him; he should be in "third gear" and not "4th gear". The road is too narrow; there are vehicles parked on either side of the road, and for the gear he's in, doing 17 to 20 MPH is too slow. Third gear is a more controllable gear and safer to use for that road (forget the fuel consumption for that moment).
Hi I've received email from DVSA to inform me that my pratical test on 25th January was cancelled , and they will send me another date, do you think that the new date will be long time, maybe in April or After??
How to deal with clutch control for Petrol & Diesel car when on an uphill slop - Can you please create one video, which i believe will help many viewers and subscribers. @all - please like this comment if you agree? Beceuase, I have a petrol car and my trainer have diesel car; practicing on trainer car when on uphill, irrespective of slope of uphill, the clutch control is sufficient enough to get the car going without Gas; whereas when i started uphill with my petrol car, it doesn't work in same fashion as diesel one. I need to use Clutch and Gas together to get moving on uphill.

Incredible video, love it alot
I got forward bay parking for my manoeuvre which was easy
Superb

We don’t think either vehicle has definite priority in that situation, so would be prepared to stop if needed.
The other driver got to the give way line first so I guess they have priority
May I ask what kind of camera mount on the side window is that? Amazing POV perspective, much better than using a head strap! But isn’t it obstructing the view a bit?
It is a mount we made, so can’t be bought unfortunately. It doesn’t block my view, as I look over the top of the camera. 👍🏼
Very helpful thanks
I love your car because it sounds modified 🏎

Maybe have a think about gear change on roundabout as that is the time you need both hands on the wheel
It's ae fantastic video-)-
Perfectly 👌
Passed today with 5 minors, thanks for the videos

Intresting
In this video is it accelerating and then removing the clutch or first takes the clutch out of the cut and then accelerates?
Gas then bite to pull away: ruclips.net/video/3AS1ZtyfjC4/видео.html 👍🏼
is it okay in speed 30 can we use 25?
We often need to drive much slower than the speed limit, for sharp bends / hazards / poor weather etc. 👍🏼
Driving in the city feels easy for me now
I like the patience word too, but I cant differentiate between Patience and anticipate when driving anymore. Please help
What method are you using in this video? Gas after clutch or clutch after gas?
Watch from 1:35 - "I always set the gas before biting the clutch, to ensure I have enough engine power to move off easily"
In 7:53 you should have indicated before turning right, is that a reason to not signalling right?
There was no need to indicate there as I was just following the road to the right. Have another look at the road markings 👍🏼
11:50 isn't a universal rule whoever has the short turn has priority over the long turn?
Have you seen that written in The Highway Code?
@@AdvanceDrivingSchool Idk about the UK but almost every country I have been to has that rule.
I wish to pass my test on Thursday and come back here to watch this videos for fun :))
Good luck!
Suggestion: driving in a heavy rain please 🙏☺️

Yes, there are several on our channel. Here is one of them: Driving on a dual-carriageway: ruclips.net/video/nOSHIITUBKs/видео.html 👍🏼
You should do a video of what to do if you get stopped by police
Clutch before gas or gas before clutch? I still can't do it like in this video
This video might help: Gas then bite to pull away: ruclips.net/video/3AS1ZtyfjC4/видео.html 👍🏼

Hiya, hope you’re both okay when’s next one you have ?
Yes we’re both Ok thanks! Our next video is a mock test and should be ready soon 👍🏼
brilliant thanks so much I watched this one I always do as I did comment . 😂👍
What exactly do we need to know about the stopping distances for the theory test and driving on the road?
Thank you in advance.
Just learn everything in the Highway Code!
@@AdvanceDrivingSchool thank you very much! Much appreciated.
my question is 'for a curve how do we know how much we should turn the steering wheel?'
There is no set amount, as every bend is different. With practice it will get easier 👍🏼
Thank you very much for the answer.

How to go uphill without using the handbrake?

thanks for your respond 🌹
Can I stay still on a hill playing with just the cluth and throttle? and how?
Holding the car on a hill with the clutch is a quick way to overheat it and wear it out. Use the brakes!
Fiesta ST init..
21:44 didn't get him far either , and it never really does
Exactly! In the longer scheme of things, breaking traffic rules isn't worth much other than endangering lives.
