No regrets on our navarra. It's been super awesome so far. My only comment about it is that it takes time to get used to driving it because it's too big..
after watching this I went straight ahead and bought the Navara 2021. I love it! Rides like an SUV, and looks like an american pick-up truck! And I love the around view camera (360). Definitely a life changer. haha
the way you compare it is almost the same when i tried to find a truck in 2018 and had the same verdict. me and my bro bought the navaras and going great so far without problems. they are underdogs that don't get much in attention or reputation compared to the others but they are strong, comfy, reliable and economical daily trucks.
Its more common to see isuzu and toyota to be workhorses and so people dont usually sell them after a few years. Im not saying the other 2 arent workhorses. Im just saying the isuzu and toyota are the go to ones. The ranger and navara are more of a lifestyle choice. If you want a pick up as a daily driver, Nissan is the best drivers pick up. The driving position and power delivery is more desirable than the rest. Ford has everything electronically assisted. So its for drivers who want an effortless drive. Toyota and isuzu are no brainers for hardwork and lifestyle. If you are a diehard carguy, i recommend the nissan. As for reliability, they are all very reliable. But, there have been a few reports of ford transmissions going wrong. But only very few. As for the rest, they all do well. It also comes down to who uses these things. Are they careful? Do they maintain the thing? If you don't know how to take of a car, any of these brands that you buy will always have problems
I had a ford ranger xlt 2013,A/T, casa maintained since day one, 115,000 km mileage. Rarely having a heavy load. My transmission problems suddenly just occurred rendering it non-driveable, casa recommended a repair worth 70k pesos. Sold it right away for 470k , then used the amount for a brand new Dmax.
@@sherwintoncomique4384 Reminds me of my 2013 Escape in 2019. Also transmission issue and since it was already phased out, it took me 3 months to find the parts for 50k+. I considered DMax as my next pick-up but after comparing all the specs plus this video, I changed my mind. The Navara's ride and looks made my choice. 👍
I thought Navara would fail my expectations with this review against other Ute's but I was wrong.. You can never go wrong with Navara.. Nice review, as always. It was as objective as it could get. I don't rely on badges, I base my purchase on many factors and then decide according to what I need the most out of my car. I am a Navara owner, my second choice would have been the Isuzu D-MAX. To each his own, my main reason why I bought a Navara is the ride comfort whilst still being able to carry load if need be.
They're all good in their own way. The D-Max for its newfound interior refinement, tech, and reliability, the Ranger for its most powerful engine and car-like handling and interior, the Navara for its ride quality and comfort, and the Hilux for its effortless performance, off-road ability, and reliability. Choose what you need/want, but you can't get it all. Personally, I'd go for the D-Max closely followed by the Wildtrak.

I really like your review. You conducted it in a very impartial manner. Most videos that I have seen input a lot of confirmation bias. Personally I feel that in the US there is a lot of confirmation bias when it comes to Ford. I have seen many years that Ford has been given the title as #1 truck when it really shouldn't have been.
I feel na masyadong tinipid ni nissan yung navara, in terms of features. Outdated na din yung engine nya, maingay masyado and di kasing tipid ng ibang pickups. But, again, I am happy with the navara, maganda ang ride nya, and easy to maintain so far.
Best video, superb presentation, what i like about Autodeal is their reviews are high class not like other car reviews that is uploaded to be monetized. Always a good a job.
The ultimate deciding factor... Alin ba ang reliable sa function ng pick up and menos gastos sa maintenance at readily available ang parts kahit saang sulok ng bansa mo kailanganin.
Overall Navara wins. Period. Just accept the result. Wag na iyakin. Kesyo walang resale value, kesyo mahal ang parts and service, kesyo sa aircon lang malakas. Mag upload ka ng sarili mong Video Comparo para panalo yang brand na gusto mo. 😀 by the way. Love the graphics. More power.
When you take a car reviewer for a "car expert" 🤦🏻♂️. Ask any veteran mechanic, the real car experts, they fixed them all and know it all, the story is much different. Yung brand known for making "disposable" cars in the 90s and early 2000 😂.
At the end of the day, it comes to affordability as the main deciding factor. Total income per year as to cost of vehicle+maintenance cost ratio. Good luck buyers🤞
1:16 why still got the majority of sales around the globe ? majority of the TOYOTA car owners experienced the true reliability for over years and decades, loyal sila dahil sila mismo ang Naka experience gaano katatag ang Hilux. Proud to be an owner of this truck..
You also need to take into account parts availability and reliability as well as after-sales support. Time will tell for the first two and swertehan sa dealer sa number 3. Sayang absent yung ibang brands. Request po, comparo between all top spec models na automatic, then another one for highest spec manual models din. Thanks!
I am driving navatra and drive it in curves like a wild guy and it gives me the performance i like. Power and reliability there he is. I will be testing the new navarra hope it will be more powerful
ibang level na ng Comparo to sir Caco!! mas preferred po namin ganto pagdating sa scoring pati sure malakas boses mo pag nasa desk mo langs. hehe! A huge fan here. Godbless to this channel
They forgot to mention the additional safeguard tax in the price category. The Navara includes the tax in its SRP, while the others don’t. That’s PHP 123,200 to their respective prices.
The Navarra is still the best value pick-up. Simply here they took the Pro4X, which is only a Navarra VL 4x4 AT, with a different body kit. It costs only 1,701,000 pesos, so this is still the cheapest.
kahit wala akong pambili :D siguro much better if include nyo po yung - ride comfortability with payload + fuel efficiency - maintenance (who is much easier to maintain and durable)
Even before this comparo, I know this Navara will surely hold its top spot. If you're going to choose Conquest then I guess you're buying the brand Toyota and not the pick up itself.
Exactly sir, it's because Toyota has a famous tagline of: "Reliability" and "Durability" to it's brand, it is true and I drive a hilux, it's a great, strong and powerful pickup tho, but there is no exciting or unique features as expected like there is something missing on the hilux especially for that kind of price point. If talking about reliability, maybe Toyota will commonly take that "Reliability" tagline but the main factor about it is how people will take care and maintain it's trucks over the years of usage.
I have 3 choices- D Max, Ford Ranger, and Nissan Navarra . My final choice would be based on fuel economy, reliability and engine performance/durability.
Both isuzu and toyota has a great reputation when it comes to pickup trucks, also ford and nissan naman what I could say about all of them is that they are all great in their own ways. I usually drive a hilux and hilux is okay aside that it is the most bouncy and most rigid compare to other pickups I already driven, sabagay pickup bakit maghahanap ng comfort at normal na matagtag talaga sya but in hilux sya talaga yung pinakamatagtag yet you feel the rigidity of the truck when you are driving but looking the features and considering it's price tag and if you are going to ask me which one I prefer I rather go with Isuzu or Nissan, both of them have a great specs and exciting features. In short sulit na sulit ang budget sakanila, sa hilux kasi definitely work-focused lang unlike sa navara comfortable pero kung kailangan mo magkarga pwede.
@@ATHREN69 actually wala akong problema sa Toyota. I'm using Toyota Hilux 2018 revo na 4x4 2.8L for 3 years, casa maintained naman sya every 10k kilometers, all out maintenance such as periodic and preventive. Kung sa power ng towing at kargahan wala akong problema also knowing it's a toyota na laging sinasabing reliable, which is true naman gaya nung sabi ko sa comment ko above talagang sobrang rigid nya ramdam mo na matigas sa matigas yung dala mo kaso sobrang tagtag but wala naman syang bitin kahit san akong dalin na situation at kung ano yung dala dala kong cargo. Sa totoo lang on paper, 1 ton lang talaga ang declare ng toyota pero I always use it for 1.5 tons basta sa patag na kalsada lang, no problem dahil pinapacheck ko yan sabay sabay sa casa lahat pati pang ilalim ko wala namang kalampag na nangyari, considering also na mwelye kasi ang toyota compared to navara's comfortable suspension. mas magrerely ka komo matgtag ang toyota. Now the reason why I compared and sort of hating Toyota kasi sa toyota parang brand nalang minsan binabayaran mo oo totoo naman syang matibay, malakas pero sana minsan tapatan man lang yung worth for your buck kung tawagin, such as features and more toys of options unlike dito sa navarra at dmax. Even kasi top of the line ang variant na kinuha kong hilux laging may missing eh and checking the price na sana fully loaded din sya gaya ng ibang sasakyan in this comparison. So the bottomline here is kumuha ka ng sasakyan based sa kung anong pangangailangan mo at I keep on pointing that I sort of hating toyota na minsan parang tinitipid nalang nila yung features pero mas mahal pa ang toyota palagi. I'm looking forward about owning a nissan navara but not for heavy duty or towing but for cruising kasi parang hindi truck ang dala mo sa navara, fully loaded features pa same as well with DMAX.
@@ErnestMarvinEsteban exactly, even I own a Toyota hindi ko naman ginawang criteria yan when getting a car kasi kung may masisira sa Toyota Hilux ko in the future probably sa casa pa din ako oorder. Saka for me lang ha, hindi naman deal breaker yang 3rd party na yan kasi kahit anong brand ang gamit mo knowing that they are all 4 wheels at trucks talagang mahal ang pyesa ng apat ang gulong diba? Hahaha. Not saying na pangit ang hilux but for me watching this comparison lalo sa bagong navara ngayon at dmax hindi maiiwasan na icompare ko yung hilux ko with them and nakikita ko sa toyota is tinitipid yung features palagi although kaya naman sumabay ng toyota sa technology nakakaasar lang and nakaka envy kasi tinitipid nila para bumili ng bagong model pag naglabas sila ng bago hahaha. Marketing strategy din ng toyota
nissan's after sales based on my experience is one of the best. 5 years of warranty and they always offer me free checkup whenever I want which is a very nice gesture from them. I really don't know about the parts though since I haven't got a single problem yet with my unit ever since I purchased it.
I wonder how the subjective looks rating would change if it was the Ford Ranger Raptor variant used instead? It won’t win the value category but men I’m sure it would definitely be a real toss up for top prize.
For me, Sa hilux padin ako, di ako nag babase sa resale value shit or dahil lang sa badge and features. The reason why is because of reliability, maintenance and parts availability.
I'll take the D-MAX. Most affordable range of prices. If you're a purist like me then the D-MAX is the best choice with it's LT 4x4 variant that has 3.0TD which is also 190hp 450Nm for just almost P1.3m, or the LS 3.0 4x2 MT with just around P1.32M
11:40 Para sa mga umiiyak about “reliability factor” pero hindi naman pinanood yung video ng buo, yan nilagay ko na para alam niyo yung reason kung bakit hindi sinama.
The Ranger, despite not having any major look change over the course of 4 years or so, still was able to rank 2nd/3rd. Ford held up despite being the eldest. #FordTheBest
The best in?ford has the most number of recalls in their transmission,10 speed a/t is not reliable,go visit transmission raptor failure in facebook page.
@@mushimushimushi9176 na recall nayon and solved na. mostly software issue. pero whatever you say Maraming raptor rangers sa kalsada. and will always be one of the best pick ups
We have both of the older Ford and Nissan model Ford built tough as they say but not to tough as our Nissan Navara up to now with 200kms stills feels brand new unlike the Ranger 100+ kms, the damage is just a hose of the turbo, they want to replace all turbo. Navara the best plus the AC near the cup holders it beats the cooler box of my LC VX 2014
Depends what you are looking for...I choose Toyota, all good for me! All the others there is something i don t totally like...some features are better than the Toyota but at the end, looking what is really important for me and personal preferences...Conquest!
Would have been nice if they loaded at least 700kg cargo then compared all 4 trucks. How was the suspension, brakes and engine pull... Testing a pickup with only a camera crew onboard the truck doesn't say much about the vehicle's power and handling.
You know someone is a Fanboy when they take car reviewers for "Car Experts." Ask any veteran mechanic, the REAL CAR EXPERTS, and they'll say "Iba ang Toyota" (Toyota is just Different). From raw materials to their kaizen principle. They repaired them all to know the strengths and weaknesses of brands. They would even say even the engine blocks are different. By the way in the US during the 90s and early 2000, Nissans are infamous to mechanics as Disposable cars. Xtrail was a disaster, piss-poor replacement engine, last Nissan I'll ever own. Even their Rustproofing is horrible. Their performance line are great and SUVs are good, but besides that... Pass. Even if they make better cars now, I'd stick to a brand who has been making good cars for decades. Isuzu and Toyota FTW.

I dove many cars but i dont mind the interior very much since my eyes are on the road and focused kn driving. Just my opinion tho
@@jass.714 Well, then that's on you lmao. We're in a modern era now boomer. Interior design matters.
@@oobibab9572 yah but ride comfort and experience ate much important than interior first, lmao
@@oobibab9572 and I said "thats not always" lmao. Why so triggered?
I really like your review. You conducted it in a very impartial manner. Most videos that I have seen input a lot of confirmation bias. Personally I feel that in the US there is a lot of confirmation bias when it comes to Ford. I have seen many years that Ford has been given the title as #1 truck when it really shouldn't have been.
How about the Dmax 4x2 LS and Navara VE 4x2?
Probably would be the most viewed episode sir caco! Navara all the way!🤟🏼
I have a Navara, and happy with it. But if I would pick a pickup today, I'd go for the Dmax.
Pwede po ba malaman reason sir?
I feel na masyadong tinipid ni nissan yung navara, in terms of features. Outdated na din yung engine nya, maingay masyado and di kasing tipid ng ibang pickups. But, again, I am happy with the navara, maganda ang ride nya, and easy to maintain so far.
@@Steegampoota maraming salamat sir..
Underated car review channel, should've millions subs fr.
I bought the Navara after watching this comparo, 👍
Best video, superb presentation, what i like about Autodeal is their reviews are high class not like other car reviews that is uploaded to be monetized. Always a good a job.
I have doubts with the navara but unexpectedly made the number 1 spot. Thank you for this “COMPARO”
Great review Caco and team!! I still went with the Hilux, reliability and resale value has no comparison.
My cousin has 2009 Hilux manual trans with over 200,000 kms on the odometer.
yes, it's literally a work truck
Love the behind the desk format of the comparo.
We gotta do what we gotta do.
The ultimate deciding factor... Alin ba ang reliable sa function ng pick up and menos gastos sa maintenance at readily available ang parts kahit saang sulok ng bansa mo kailanganin.
Tama isuzu yun dba?
Overall Navara wins. Period. Just accept the result. Wag na iyakin. Kesyo walang resale value, kesyo mahal ang parts and service, kesyo sa aircon lang malakas. Mag upload ka ng sarili mong Video Comparo para panalo yang brand na gusto mo. 😀 by the way. Love the graphics. More power.
can you tell us some reasons
Did you watch the whole video? That's the reason for you.
When you take a car reviewer for a "car expert" 🤦🏻♂️. Ask any veteran mechanic, the real car experts, they fixed them all and know it all, the story is much different. Yung brand known for making "disposable" cars in the 90s and early 2000 😂.
Great review as always Caco!
Very thorough and informative!
Nxt time try these 4 on OFF-ROAD! Let's see who goes on top!
Ranger no doubt!
I'm sure talo pa din Toyota haha
ranger or navara yan but obviously not hilux hahaha
At the end of the day, it comes to affordability as the main deciding factor.
Total income per year as to cost of vehicle+maintenance cost ratio.
Good luck buyers🤞
Kuddos sa video editor! Ganda pati color combinations! 🎉
DMAX all the way!❤️👌🏽
1:16 why still got the majority of sales around the globe ? majority of the TOYOTA car owners experienced the true reliability for over years and decades, loyal sila dahil sila mismo ang Naka experience gaano katatag ang Hilux. Proud to be an owner of this truck..
6:38 I saw it too Caco😂
I couldn't agree more with this review... so on point... kudos to Caco and co.
Nobody Reviews like Caco🤝
ibang level na ng Comparo to sir Caco!! mas preferred po namin ganto pagdating sa scoring pati sure malakas boses mo pag nasa desk mo langs. hehe! A huge fan here. Godbless to this channel
The Toyota will out live them all and their next 2 generations at least... I'd put money on it !!!
Nobody will keep their vehicles for more than 10 years
aaaaah been waiting for this comparo! awesome as always
They forgot to mention the additional safeguard tax in the price category. The Navara includes the tax in its SRP, while the others don’t. That’s PHP 123,200 to their respective prices.
Oo nga mas nakatipid pa ako sa navara
The Navarra is still the best value pick-up. Simply here they took the Pro4X, which is only a Navarra VL 4x4 AT, with a different body kit. It costs only 1,701,000 pesos, so this is still the cheapest.
i like this format of comparing... do more of these... please
For handling & comfort , i think navara is the best.. however all factors counted, I finally bought D-max
Ranger is the best handling pick up..
@@KyxmyxNot the most reliable sadly, people don't really like spending long time in reoair shops.
kahit wala akong pambili :D siguro much better if include nyo po yung
- ride comfortability with payload + fuel efficiency
- maintenance (who is much easier to maintain and durable)

@@nodcarillol.6550 sige ilabas mo yang ka toxican mo, eh ikaw meron kang pambili?
Hilux and Dmax no issues whatsoever
@@mat.coccaceae my cousin has 2009 Hilux manual trans with over 200,000 kms on the odometer and still running like a champ.
Toyotas never gave me a headache.
Caco you are the man! Thank you for immediately doing the comparo!
After service spare parts price should be also in the category
This is where dmax might give an edge
It would have been interesting to perform city and highway fuel consumptions, to cover both situations. Great review by the way.
Isuzus will always be the best for those who keep their cars for a lifetime.
I believe your comparison is fair. At least for neutrals. Neutral could means relatively debatable anyway. Love it.
These new Graphics are ❤️
Excellent kind of comparison. You should do this on yearly a basis. 😊
Great comparo. Thanks!!
I have 3 choices- D Max, Ford Ranger, and Nissan Navarra .
My final choice would be based on fuel economy, reliability and engine performance/durability.
And dont forget nissan has the coolest aircondition system. Additional point to comfortability
This is actually a great comparison
Hilux: *Last place
Filipinos: Shut up and take my money
In short sulit na sulit ang budget sakanila, sa hilux kasi definitely work-focused lang unlike sa navara comfortable pero kung kailangan mo magkarga pwede.
a lot of them buys it because of the "3rd party parts availability". It sounds weird honestly when there are better options in the market.
@@mat.coccaceae indeed
@@ATHREN69 actually wala akong problema sa Toyota. I'm using Toyota Hilux 2018 revo na 4x4 2.8L for 3 years, casa maintained naman sya every 10k kilometers, all out maintenance such as periodic and preventive. Kung sa power ng towing at kargahan wala akong problema also knowing it's a toyota na laging sinasabing reliable, which is true naman gaya nung sabi ko sa comment ko above talagang sobrang rigid nya ramdam mo na matigas sa matigas yung dala mo kaso sobrang tagtag but wala naman syang bitin kahit san akong dalin na situation at kung ano yung dala dala kong cargo. Sa totoo lang on paper, 1 ton lang talaga ang declare ng toyota pero I always use it for 1.5 tons basta sa patag na kalsada lang, no problem dahil pinapacheck ko yan sabay sabay sa casa lahat pati pang ilalim ko wala namang kalampag na nangyari, considering also na mwelye kasi ang toyota compared to navara's comfortable suspension. mas magrerely ka komo matgtag ang toyota. Now the reason why I compared and sort of hating Toyota kasi sa toyota parang brand nalang minsan binabayaran mo oo totoo naman syang matibay, malakas pero sana minsan tapatan man lang yung worth for your buck kung tawagin, such as features and more toys of options unlike dito sa navarra at dmax. Even kasi top of the line ang variant na kinuha kong hilux laging may missing eh and checking the price na sana fully loaded din sya gaya ng ibang sasakyan in this comparison. So the bottomline here is kumuha ka ng sasakyan based sa kung anong pangangailangan mo at I keep on pointing that I sort of hating toyota na minsan parang tinitipid nalang nila yung features pero mas mahal pa ang toyota palagi. I'm looking forward about owning a nissan navara but not for heavy duty or towing but for cruising kasi parang hindi truck ang dala mo sa navara, fully loaded features pa same as well with DMAX.
@@ErnestMarvinEsteban exactly, even I own a Toyota hindi ko naman ginawang criteria yan when getting a car kasi kung may masisira sa Toyota Hilux ko in the future probably sa casa pa din ako oorder. Saka for me lang ha, hindi naman deal breaker yang 3rd party na yan kasi kahit anong brand ang gamit mo knowing that they are all 4 wheels at trucks talagang mahal ang pyesa ng apat ang gulong diba? Hahaha. Not saying na pangit ang hilux but for me watching this comparison lalo sa bagong navara ngayon at dmax hindi maiiwasan na icompare ko yung hilux ko with them and nakikita ko sa toyota is tinitipid yung features palagi although kaya naman sumabay ng toyota sa technology nakakaasar lang and nakaka envy kasi tinitipid nila para bumili ng bagong model pag naglabas sila ng bago hahaha. Marketing strategy din ng toyota
Awesome comparison video. Nailed it!
How about 1 category more: Warranty & Aftersales services, maintenance/parts etc? which is is the best and cheapest?
toyota
Ford after sales is the wwworst.
nissan's after sales based on my experience is one of the best. 5 years of warranty and they always offer me free checkup whenever I want which is a very nice gesture from them. I really don't know about the parts though since I haven't got a single problem yet with my unit ever since I purchased it.
@@ErnestMarvinEsteban free checkup kasi kakahuyin nila sasakyan mo
Isuzu and Toyota based on my experience.
Nice comparo.
TOYOTA STILL WON FOR ME..
I wonder how the subjective looks rating would change if it was the Ford Ranger Raptor variant used instead? It won’t win the value category but men I’m sure it would definitely be a real toss up for top prize.
Thank you for the knowledgeable informations, sir! Big help. Good job and more power!
For me, Sa hilux padin ako, di ako nag babase sa resale value shit or dahil lang sa badge and features. The reason why is because of reliability, maintenance and parts availability.
Well done Caco, I was also looking forward with the comparo including Strada Athlete.
navara for exterior looks + ride comfort and dmax for interior looks + engine relaibility. how i wish you can have it all in one

The Ranger, despite not having any major look change over the course of 4 years or so, still was able to rank 2nd/3rd. Ford held up despite being the eldest. #FordTheBest

Navarra is the most comfortable to ride and good fuel consumption.

Depends what you are looking for...I choose Toyota, all good for me! All the others there is something i don t totally like...some features are better than the Toyota but at the end, looking what is really important for me and personal preferences...Conquest!
what really baffles me is no matter how low the Toyota rates on reviews it still leads in sales worldwide. you wont go wrong in a Toyota.
Except in Thailand - where DMAX is the no. 1 selling pick up
Would have been nice if they loaded at least 700kg cargo then compared all 4 trucks. How was the suspension, brakes and engine pull...
Testing a pickup with only a camera crew onboard the truck doesn't say much about the vehicle's power and handling.
Agree, put 700kg lets see the navarra's suspension. Useless review.
We should also consider the customer support, parts availability and the re-sale value when comparing. But nonetheless, great comparrison.
Yeeeesss... Navara! ❤️
Nice review sir caco!
When Caco mentioned reliability, I thought he's gonna say resell value as well.. whew!
You know, for the toyota fanboys,,
Navara FTW!
