  • If your LG dryer is not heating, a common issue is the the Thermo Sensor going out. It's a cheap part but the process to replace it can be a bit overwhelming. Let me show you how to do it yourself and you will be glad you did. My LG dryer model number is DLEX5101V. Ive had it for 12 years and its gone out twice, same issue, BUT it got fixed each time.

      This guy didn't do any work.
      This guy talking as if he's first person, and actually doing the work himself.
      However, he's obviously black, and everyone doing the work is white.
      Imagine that.
      This guy just voiced over someone else's hard work, painstakingly hard to capture video, and dialogue with his own dialogue, and claimed it to be his own content.
      Lol, "Father's Day."
      I'm certain this content creator has no true experience working on anything, with the exception of his mouth.
      But, that's what certain types of people do.

    Hey Funky. Thanks for this video!! I watched it once when I replaced the thermostat and heat sensor and again 10 months later when two of the wheels seized up and made it loud and squeaky (and impossible to spin by hand). Just $18 and $32...instead of a new dryer. Thanks again for taking the time and relax this Father's Day!!

    I have an LG DLE7300ve, the machine powers it acts like its cycling (counter and everything) but doesn't cycle. I replaced the thermostat for the motor and it worked for some time. 16 minutes before the cycle was to be completed the machine stopped and was told to check the sensor flow and it hasn't worked again. Any ideas on what is going on here??

    I did all the steps but once I started it again I smelled smoke, any suggestions?

    • @FunkyColdMedinaDIY
      @FunkyColdMedinaDIY  6 месяцев назад

      Oh boy. There could be a wire, tape, lint or something touching the metal cover that protects exposure to the electric heating element. Usually the smell will pass once the item chars a bit, if its paper or something similar. If it is the coating of a wire then I would probably disassemble the dryer to make sure, especially if the smell gets worse or you see smoke. You definitely don’t want a fire to occur. I pray the problem gets solved. If you see smoke or fire, call 911, unplug the dryer and get rid of it. Dont risk your safety. Thank you for your comment and have a blessed day😁🙏

      Thank you for getting back to me. I ended up taking it apart again and found that there was some lint that got loose when I was cleaning it before and I missed. I gave it a good clean with the vacuum and put it back together. With a prayer and push of a button it started up and while the smell was still somewhat there it dissipated quickly and it’s purring like a kitten! Thank you so much for the amazing video!!

      @@JacqueGonzalesTube Hello there friend. I just had to take the top metal square housing off and you can reach everything. Ive done it once after this video without an issue. I keep extra parts around just in case. Different models should be the same process to remove the metal housing. But you could search your specific model dryer on youtube and give that a try if my process doesn’t work. Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for watching and have a blessed day and happy holidays to everyone 😁😎🙏

    Hey man, I can't get my bromine levels to go up in my pool no matter what I do, and the owner refuses to get brom up do you have any suggestions? Sorry to bother man. (I'll take a real or comedic answer haha)

    • @FunkyColdMedinaDIY
      @FunkyColdMedinaDIY  2 года назад +1

      Whats up David. I am definitely not a pool expert but if your bromine levels are low, you can try buying some bromine and place them in floaters that slowly release the bromine in the pool. I know it shouldn't be to your expense. I would also suggest that the pool be switched to chlorine if the pool is exposed to the sun. Bromine evaporates and degrades very quickly by UV rays, so it's not ideal for outdoor pools exposed to the sun. Maybe another option would be to not pay the rent until he/she fixes the pool situation. I hope this helps David. Like I said I'm no expert, I wish I had a pool, maybe one day when I make it big from cooking grilled cheese on the sidewalk🤣. Whenever someone has a problem I try my best to help out. Have a great day David😎✌️
