I leased a fully loaded 2018 AWD and couldn’t turn it in at lease end. I didn’t even want a new one, that car became my mistress. I came across it by accident, I wasn’t even looking for a car but I wound up in a Lexus dealership, and this model, the styling caught my eye and as I did a walk around, I just saw this as a beautiful design, impressed the hell out of me. I opened the door and hopped in the drivers seat and that was it. The comfort of the drivers seat reminded me of my catchers mitt from when I played baseball. The dashboard, the console, this was not just a car, this was art. As impressed as I was with the exterior, I was even more impressed with the interior. I hung around a bit and left. This was on a Saturday. I could not stop thinking about this car the rest of the weekend, and when Monday came around I pulled the trigger and signed the papers. I didn’t even test drive the car, I figured it’s a Lexus, how bad can it be? Well, on the drive home, I was even more impressed with its performance and ride than I was with the exterior and interior. For me, this car was the trifecta…exterior, interior, and ride. This car is no speed demon, and not a sports car in the traditional sense. It is a touring car. I drive it every day to and from work, and I no longer care about traffic because I’m with my mistress and I’m perfectly happy. There is no other car for me.
@user-nf8cx5jq8c everyone says it's dated but honestly it's not that bad.. touch screen leaves prints n mfs breaking ur shizz lol... u can apple car play anyways.
This is me right now, was actually in the market for a GTR and stumbled upon this at a used car dealer. Test drove it and fell in love, drivers seat feels like your piloting an aircraft or something. It’s a wonderful place to be. Most likely signing the papers tomorrow evening 😂😂😂
Love the information. One word of advice: turn off the cameras mic, get a lapelle mic, add in synced audio later, as it would improve your sound quality loads.
I bought a new RC 350 F Spot 2 months ago and I absolutely LOVE THIS CAR! From the constant head turning looks I get to the performance, combined with unparalleled Lexus dependability, it has no equal in my opinion. I agree with the previous post: it is rare to see one on the road. I drive a big rig through CA, NV, AZ an UT and I’ve only seen another RC 6 or 7 times. This includes the stretch between LA and Vegas! Lexus of Glendale in CA has been nothing but a pleasure to deal with, unlike BMW dealers who acted like they were doing me a favor to talk to me regarding my 2001 335i I had years ago go, for parts/service. This is a great review, and I enjoy watching it repeatedly while on the road in the truck. I only have one issue, and it’s a mistake I’ve seen in every other review on the RC. My situation could be unique to the 2022 model year, but I doubt it, given it’s a Lexus. It’s not a CD player. It’s a CD/DVD player! Yes, you can watch movies on the infotainment screen with Mark Levinson sound 🙂 Thanks for the great content and review!
@@camverticalco Hmmm-had that car nearly 20 yrs ago-i could be mistaken, but swear it was a 335 🤔 It was one step down from a M I was told. The dealer attitude and maintenance costs I definitely remember vividly.
I just bought the 2022 rc350 2 months ago not the F sport. Mine is the v6 but it still has the sport mode 311 hp along with eco and I LOVE this car!! It drives amazing! I got the premium package infrared with the Carmel interior. It is an absolute head turner. Beautiful car, comfortable luxurious ride.
I've been enjoying my 2016 for a while. I've owned Porsche, Mercedes, BMW and other enthusiast marques. Is it the fastest? Quickest? Is it a torque monster? No, no and no. But it's comfy, quick enough to be fun, and if you know how to drive, handles like crazy and surprises much more powerful cars. I got tired of being on a first name basis with the service department and exchanging Christmas cards. My car has been in for regular service, period. 20 years ago a Lexus was my wife's car. I can go days without seeing an RC, I can't go 30 seconds without seeing an S-type Tesla. I'm considering an RC F or LC in the next year or two, but climbing into this thing makes me forget all about that.
I will never purchase a Bmw had a couple, horrible engine troubles, Mercedes e 350 AMG engine not strong, suspension weak. Lexus sc 430 had 10 yrs never a problem only radiator after 10yrs. Now Lexus RC 350 f sport genius car!! My first hardtop but it's worth it!!!
One of the best reviews on this car I bought one a month ago 8 miles off the lot & absolutely love it hope to upgrade to an rcf one day as I’m an adrenaline junky and crave that v8 power & sound
Got the 2023 F sport with the special appearance packed, black hood and roof. I ordered the spoiler and it was painted and installed before I picked it up. 19-inch dark gray wheels with orange calipers Triple beam head lights. Loaded to the teeth. Moon roof. Touch screen. Talk to the navigation and sit back. 😂
@Damone7653 I did get those Enkie wheels. My only dislike is minor. Mine came with summer tires. I'll more than likely just let it sit pretty in the garage during snow days. Oh well, I'll just have to break out my 1993 Chevy S 10.
Complaining about things like the CD player (would the interior be better without that option?) as well as the redundant hvac controls in the infotainment screen is kinda weird tbh😂 Also I've heard the CD player also plays dvd movies...but not sure about that. In any case, it's there if you need it, or if nothing else its a good place for a cd slot phone holder
you forgot to mention the fog lights, which you pointed at it, but didn't mention. I wish someone would speak about them and how they work 'cause in mine I don't find any explanation, either in the manuals or online...
I love this car. But i hard how the centre speaker has too much volume compared to other speakers and there is no way to adjust that properly. This sound stage is very strange. It's not how it feels listening on home hi-fi, headphones or a concert. It's like listing to a TV soundbar.

The awd is super cool! With a v6 and two doors ? Fun fun fun
Too bad the interior is looking dated; sweet ride besides that!
@@EthCepher - well, that’s good for me because I’m a little dated myself, lol

Just Bought This… Black Line Edition. Sick car… Sport mode is badass, but it retains that Luxo feel. Big Win for Lexus

You had a 2001 335i why'd you sell it that car must be one of one because they didnt release the 335i until 2006

For how expensive the refreshed RC350s are you could buy a fairly low mileage 15-16 RCF
RWD though
@@Mike-cz2yw Which is wonderful as long as you don't need it for snow / offroad use
Personally, I like the refreshed looks
Same, I prefer it
The CD player is for those who enjoy music played with greater fidelity. It is not anachronistic.
Excellent objective review! Well done.
Awesome review video I enjoyed the video
