An absolute gem of a place. Ive been twice. Firstly time, my dad took me, then last time in January. Amazing place. Best sunsets ever as well, and have seen the milky way and northern lights from there.
Well Stripey you kept your secret not naming the bothy but the scenery around and the bothy views its self was more than enough satisfaction of once again a brilliant adventure captured by your amazing videogeaphy... Thanks for sharing 🏴🇩🇪
That is certainly a delightful bothy in an awesome location. Without doubt sitting by a stoney shore listening to the waves come in and draw out is truly satisfying. Great video.
Why the secrecy ? Only dedicated hikers are going to use it and hopefully treat it respectfully . Scotland's beauty is for sharing , not some secret squirrel club for the entitled
Hi Stripey, wow wow wow, what a place mate, absolutely beautiful, I’d go as far as to say that’s has to be the best view from any Bothy. Thank you so much for taking us along for the adventure. All the best mate, Dave 😀🥾⛰🏴
Nice one Stripey, what a stunning location mate .. I know of that bothy but i've never researched into it for a visit .I think i will now though ..Your right about the mountain weather i just i cant seem get a break when i'm off ...Good stuff buddy ..cheers Stevie
Thank you very much Stevie! Yeah the mountain weather the last few weekends is just rubbish - nothing to enjoy. Probably god for the nature but not good for me 😂. Thanks a lot, Stripey
From a local, thankyou for not revealling the location. We lost our beloved ********** bothy (you will know the one) due to overexposure on social media and attracting people who just came to wreck the place.

Aye probably, in the video description of the Peanmeanach settlement wild camp I linked a pdf which talks about the vikings and the west cost a little bit.
Hi Stripey 👋. Stunning, and so nice to see a different landscape. The bothy too, very different, with one of the best picture windows around. Thanks Stripey for sharing. Serk
Hi Serk 👋, yeah definitely. It gets very cold fast, I had to buy waterproof pants and a down coat - I was under prepared for the volatile weather. I learned that listening to native people is crucial for safety. I wanted to climb Ben Nevis however it was too windy and a hurricane was rolling through
What a great wee bothy adventure 👍 a window view to die for 😍 One of the many reasons I love my own county Scotland ... Its great you can find such quiet hidden places like this...
