Out of all the Top 10's this one has all solid arguments for each one. Great list coming from a fellow boardgamer from Port Saint Lucie. Might have to come up sometime and play you in some Ark Nova. Subscribed. Happy Holidays!
Great list! You have mentioned several games in my top 10 as well. FYI. There is a digital version of Ark Nova just released on Steam, with AI opponents. I have played it a ton in the last 2 weeks.
Yea I have digital versions of Ark Nova, Terraforming Mars and Dune Imperium, and play them solo versus AI to fill time between our regular game nights. Note I tried the digital version of Castle Burgundy (like that game) but the interface is really clunky and I do not recommend. One board game that is on my wish list is War Stories Occupied France. That’s my big hope for after Christmas.
The problem with Ark Nova for me is that my wife doesn't like it, and she is my second player. I could always invite a friend over to play, but I constantly have to play new games for the channel so some of the ones I really enjoy get pushed back sometimes. But I would love to play it two player more often. Have you played all the solo modes? which one is best?
@925Gamers ah, I see ok. It sucks if your partner doesn't like the game. Yes, I tried solo mode out of the box, fan made ARNO, and BGA. I like the default out of the box the best. It's easy to run, and it does its job keeping the game length on pace against a good player, which is like 35 min.
@@925Gamers Yes. If you plan on buy it, I suggest waiting next year since Quimbley's Toys, who own the right to produce Peterson's games, will bring a regular version of the game to the market. Right now there is only the version with giant's minis that cost a lot of money. Also over the years a lot of small tweaks (buffs and nerfs) was added to the game so the regular version with all comes with all these updates.
What i disagree on is that if you like Dune Imperium buy also uprising and viceversa because they play different and serves to different means, one to introduce, the other to more expert players... and don't forget the expansion (for the first game) they give more strategies to the game....

Port Saint Lucie! I've been out there a few times. I would love to get together and play some time. My Facebook page has event dates and times!

Ark Nova isnt longer than some of the games on your list, if you play 2 players, know the rules, and you can beat the solo challenge

Can you make an Excel or a List of all your 100 games? I need to see them in Order!
Great Video, BGG-ing Moonrakers 👀
I uploaded all youtubers lists to AgeOfRanks :)
I’m gonna make goal to buy and play every game in your top 10 by the end of next year
What an honor! Why do I feel nervous lol

That's an excellent way to see it! Thanks for the advice! I still need to play the new version and haven't got a copy yet
Kemet! Such a good game. Great top 10.
Check out Yedo
I feel like I have heard of this. Is it an abstract game?
@@925Gamers Just came across Yedo a few days ago. Auction and worker placement are some of the main mechanics
