I was fortunate enough to see this piece in person at SDCC. It is absolutely breathtaking. Photos and video just don't do it justice. I think I went back to the booth 4 times just to get another look at it. Absolutely brilliant.
I am overjoyed that one of these absolute masterpieces shall have a place in my collection until the end of all things. Gary Hunt, Weta, thank you. Not just for this marvelous piece but for all of the love, dedication and reverence you have ALWAYS displayed for J.R.R Tolkien and his literary works. Richard Taylor and the amazing team at Weta are truly the heart and soul of The Lord of the Rings and it continues to show in "Salvation at Mount Doom". This statue invokes the same emotional resonance as the scene from the movie did. I will forever cherish it.
SIR RICHARD TAYLOR an ALL of Weta superb mature passioned piece !! Must have to add to the collectables!!! Namare! My sisters an brothers at Weta! Frodo/SAM LIVES ON !
Unbelievable how good this looks. I'm sat watching this with tears in my eyes..... Amazing... Thank you for sharing your great skills 🙏🙏.. 20th anniversary.. Long live LOTR..
I would like to do this job. but nobody cares about the statue in Turkey. The income level is so low that people can only eat and pay their bills. unfortunately we can only watch your videos 😔 In a country of 85 million people, 80% of people work for minimum wage. and only $400. Damn we're just watching
This is great, but Weta are true mercenaries. Easy money. These guys make 1 sculpture, then a cast out of it, and then instead of 2000 replicas, they make only 250, call it a limited edition and sell a cheap resin figure for hundreds of dollars. I hope the Chinese replicate these things, they managed to copy a few of these figures and sell for $20, much better price and fair quality. It's a figure, ffs, it doesn't move, it doesn't do anything, it gathers dust. I'm happy to pay $20, and very annoyed to pay more than $200. Those $180+ are all "copyright". Tolkien surely didn't plan on having this kind of nonsense done with his name on it.

An utterly breath taking piece.. congratulations to everyone involved.
Perhaps my favourite scenes in the movie, this is absolutely incredible
It will be part of our gallery for sure and it’s an amazing idea. A win to the whole Weta team.
Thank you Gary ❤ And the whole team who designed this piece of beauty.

Wow. That is one breathtaking statue.
Good LORD this is a BEAUTIFUL piece!! DEFINITELY on my Bucket List! I REALLY hope that, besides Peter, that Ian, Sean and Elijah each get one ;)

20th anniversary..
Long live LOTR..
Could be the best Lotr Weta statue to date.
If I could afford this work of art it would be with me until the end of all things.
Outerwordly. Congrats. Wish I had the money and the space to display it
An absolutely stunning piece!
This statue invokes the same emotion as the scene in the movie.
Masterpiece !
Dreaming to join the Richard Taylor artist team and finish my life in such a majestic land too !
Wow! Amazing! This is definitely one of the coolest sculptures that you guys have done!
Utterly stunning.
Weta have produced some remarkable pieces over the years, but this might just top them all! Or should that be "rule" them all? Beautiful work.
This is the MOST pushed piece, by Weta. I think they might be afraid that the Fountain Guard and Tree of Gondor was not the "Masters Collection ".
I agree, I’m also loving this marketing campaign!
Alright, I must concede. This piece is very beautiful a captivating. I could not help myself, in order to have every Masters Collection.
Definitely, the ultimate collector's piece for the LOTR Trilogy, if I could have only one model it would be this one! I have none sadly 😞
amazing job , thx👌👍
stunning. beautiful. amazing.
just wow beautiful work
Looks amazing, but I hope that because of the 3D printing, it will reflect in price. If not, then why wouldn't everybody just 3D print our own.
please Weta give us a good price!
Wonderful,i love it!
Wonderful!
Looks fantastic, wish I had more $$$$$$ and room in my home.
How much you guys think it’s going to be? I’m guessing $3000
apparently Weta already has POs for it in the Weta Cave in NZ... it's listed at $2900... so this will likely be it.
$2890 just po it. $725 down payment, and the shipping will hurt!
Gorgeous
Please make a Barad Dur with led eye, not too expensive please
Sadly the price will not save us 😂😂😂
Weta 😍😍😍😍😍😍
❤❤❤
Why couldn’t the Eagles not fly them straight to Mt Doom ?
I love it please send me a freebie

Sorry to hear this, I hope your luck turns up and you can break that barrier.
So sad...:(.
