All the villages along the Mösel and along the Rhein are beautiful. If anyone reading this ever has the chance to visit Europe this area is a must in Germany.
Bernkastel-Kues is propably the most beautiful town of the Moselle Valley in Germany. Definitely THE place to be visited in Mosel.
The best time to visit Bernkastel is the first Saturday of September. That is when the town has a big wine fest with fireworks up at the Castle and the town below the castle is jammed packed with people enjoying the show. My first visit was way back in September 1978. Visited it 3 more times in 1979, 1980, and 1991.

Heaven on earth what more can you ask for. I am planning my trip to the Moselle valley it will probably be part of a river cruise but I would love to spend a lot longer there.

Sehr schönes Video, wer keine Lust hat Wein zu probieren hat die Möglichkeit wandern zu gehen oder sich die Burgruine anzusehen. So ist fuer jeden etwas dabei.
