you went too fast over the tricky part. it doesn't connect. do i need to use ipad instead of phone?

your wifi has to be 2.4 ghz

Im having the same issue - if your wifi is more advanced does that mean there is no way to get this to work?

ok, after 2 days I just got it connected, here's what I did. I used my ipad, not phone. follow the steps up to the tricky part. do not hold the wi-fi symbol, instead in settings, chose wi-fi and a list of available networks will drop down. don't select your house wifi but look for the dirt devil wifi. it's unsecured and it has the word setup3420 in it. chose that while standing near the robot. it will then connect. hope this helps

@@sierra4610 my wifi is advanced and it has both 5G and 2.4ghz. it selects the correct one depending on the device. so don't worry about that. the issue is you are not selecting the robot wifi in settings. read what I just discovered above. it should work. good luck
