I'm looking for a Robot Vac, but none of these listed have good reviews on Amazon. I think 65% positive is the best and that's not good enough for the price tag.

  • @Real_JKDOS

If iRobot S9 is as noisy as you say, would you recommend not buying for an apartment? Robot vacuums clean slower than humans, so the amount of time I am causing noise vacuuming in an apartment would be best kept to a minimum.

I prefer the Neato D7, it picks up a lot of dirt that you don't even realize is on your floors.
It rarely gets stuck, has a larger bin than most bot vacs, has smart maps and lydar navigation.

      @rer1967 Год назад +1

@@Myrashenka, I did have an older dog with long hair when I got my first one.
It did mean cleaning the bot more but still performed well.
Definitely do make sure that the dog is confined to one room if you're going to schedule cleaning while you're away, just in case of accidents.

Great review however, from someone who has one of these, Deebot X1 Omni take note that the mopping feature is great if you only have one floor to do. Since the robot goes back to its station to clean the mop and then continue its session (I think it does this after 15min) you will not be able to do that on another floor unless you have another station. So basically you have to bring the robot back to the floor where you have the station for it to clean the mops. Then you have to get the robot to exit the station and bring it back to the floor it was on and resume cleaning. Only problem is it wont remember where it was so it will do areas it already did. It’s not like when the there is a low battery and it goes to charge and then resume where it left off. Something to consider.

In the past I've had a Rumba (back in 2014) and a Neato D5 model. Both destroyed my base boards. My home is about 75% wood floors, 10% tile, and the remainder carpet. The carpet is typical shag. We also work from home. So I'm looking for something quiet and that will not wreck my baseboards. Also, we do have a dog but she doesn't shed much as she's hypoallergenic. what would you suggest?

I'm planning to get an iRobot i8+ Combo or a J5+ Combo, I'm uncertain, which one is best. The i8+ combo is only 20 bucks cheaper than the J5+, but the J5+ has a LED which supports the camera. So it can navigate better at sunset or without lights on.

These little robots can teach the selfparking EV to selfplug-in to the home or the grid.
V2G EVs or BVs (battery vehicles), will just need a $60 wall outlet to trade electricity or top up.
Every building carpark space with a $60 electricity wall outlet.

Oversized battery on wheels will help little home batteries everyday.

I have had roomba for a couple of decades and the technical support is so bad I would not consider the brand. Is not difficult to get them on the line, but the people who answer are from overseas call center with no idea how the machine works. They put you on hold and make recommendations that will cost you money but won’t solve problem. In reviewing a robot one important thing is how easy or difficult is to get actual technical help.

My dog is TERRIFIED of regular vacuums. She runs as though she were fleeing the actual wrath of the Lord. We are staying in a place with a Roomba for a month, and although she is not a fan, her terror is definitely down many notches. I would say she is 70% curious and 30% scared, which is a significant improvement. 😅

My cats are terrified of the regular vacuum but don't mind the robot vac. They just move a few feet away of it gets too close. They don't run and hide. They'll still eat and play and stuff when it's doing it's thing. It took a little while for them to get comfortable with it, but even when we first got it, it wasn't as scary as the regular vacuum.
I run my vacuum when I go to bed, so I'm not around to trip on it. You can hear when it gets close to you though, so it should trigger you to look out for it.

I am in LOVE🥰🥰Ran my Roomba three times now and it’s amazing! Yes, there may be a missed spot, but I’ve already noticed more pick up as it learns my home. The best part was running it in two different rooms as I worked on post-Christmas cleaning and I was able to do OTHER tasks while it cleaned the floors! What??? I can clean the bathroom while someone else Vaccuums? It’s not the kids…though they do help the Roomba did a better job than they ever do! I purchased one for my mother, but she may have some technical challenges even though I had it up and running. Hopefully it works for her as well. I want one for our basement family level as well. It’s really not a big deal to pick it up and move it though…again because you are able to do other things while it’s running. Very happy with this machine, what it’s catching and what it is avoiding. Highly recommend!! amzn.to/3Q5WD9n
