Walmart gave these away this year as part of the Ibotta free Thanksgiving dinner. So I got one and as luck would have it, I own the same Cosori pressure cooker. So thanks very much for the video showing me exactly what to do and expect. Mine is cooking now. Late Thanksgiving because I had to work. Blessed to have a job these days and blessed to have that free dinner from Walmart.
Doug, I tried a 6.40 lb turkey breast in my Ninja foodie. I decided to air fry it after pressure cooking it. My husband and I were impressed. Wish I would have seen this instructional video before Thanksgiving. I learn something new everyday. P.S. There is no messing the turkey up no matter what spices you use. I tried simple Lawrys seasoning salt, my rosemary sprigs from my garden, and pepper. I did pre oil the turkey prior to seasoning and air frying.
Awww! Love cooking with Doug! You are the go-to dude! AND you are left-handed! Watch on the right hand. You rock...and your helpful cooking videos are so great.
Keep the party going! Ty!
You have the sweetest kindest voice, thanks for sharing!!
Did this with my new pressure cooker last Friday using this video!!!! Thank you Doug!
Turkey looks great.... I had a turkey breast in the freezer. Just put it in my 3 qt pressure cooker. Anxiously awaiting the results. Thank you for the recipe !
thanks for this review Doug, my son bought me a tayama pressure cooker and it has one of those none stick coating and in 3 uses I see it wearing already. I send an email to tayama. While waiting on them to respond I have already saved this elite inner pot in my amazon list. All the reviews say the pot works well in the various pressure cookers.
Hi Doug
Cooked Thanksgiving turkey with y'all last year. Went over great with family then. Can't call myself a veteran turkey cooking diva yet. But love cooking with y'all
It looks delicious! Thanks for the tips. Looking forward to the comparison of the air fryer.
OMG!
I just bought an express cooker and used your recipe. I didn't have LS so I put a packet of onion soup mix in the water. Did the paprika and poultry season mix that I had on hand.
It turned out fantastic. Hubby loved it. Thanks for this video.
Great post....thanks my friend for showing me! And Happy Thanksgiving! I'm doing it right now!
That looks yummy! Gotta give it a try in my IP. Love your videos. Tfs...
Yum. That looks awesome. 😋
That's a lot of liquid smoke.
Way to much
he gave himself cancer using that much liquid carcinogen.
Even at BJ's those arent cheap...ty for taking one for the team Doug
"Keep the party goin" Doug! Just found you and HEY there from Maui! Keeping it simple for me n hubby and going with the Instant Pot. Mahalo and Aloha from Hawaiian TutuMa!
Looks good, Doug. Im going to cook one tomorrow night.
Year three Doug ! You are my go to chef.
This saved thanksgiving, thank you
Looks great, my brother 👌🏿👊🏾
Thanks man! Great video.
Great video....I am going to cook one of these thawed in a regular dutch oven, stove top in chicken broth and onion/garlic and use the meat to make turkey and sausage gumbo on Thanksgiving day...the meat will be nice and soft for that. Thank you for this video.
"I'ma holla back in an hour" 😂
You like that 😂🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Thank you! Will definitely try this (but without all that liquid smoke).
Nicely done pimpin.....fo-sho
You da shish!! I'm bout to try it right this here minute!!👍
That looks good
Thanks for the instructions, I didn’t have the Butter Ball one but I did have boneless/skinless frozen turkey breast. Hubby and I can’t believe how nice and moist it was. A lot better cooking it in the instant pot than in the oven. Am I a follower of your channel now, yup!!
Doug, BAM! you did it. Another good video. I want to try using the pressure cooker.TFS
Pretty awesome it was from frozen. It looked so great and seasoned on the outside !! I love how you put it on the rack, so it probably kind of Steamed it :)
Looks great......
Good work. Almost bit a hole in the TV screen.
Looking cook Doug
I love my turkey
Doug, one thing I was taught about liquid smoke is to use it sparingly. If to much is added to the recipe, it can be overwhelming & in some cases add a bitterness to the foods. Keep up the good videos. Does thpessure cooker you use have a ‘browning’ feature?
+Sherman Brown yes...but d idnt use it this time because it was from frozen...
Hey Doug. Does the Cosori pressure cooker have a brown setting? Where you can brown meat slightly before doing the pressure cooking?
+Ty Iwata absolutely...yeah..its the brown/sear button
COOKINGWITHDOUG awesome! Thank you. Saw your first review, and like that it makes a sound when lid is on properly. Just seems like an easier way for me to get into pressure cooking. Think you do an excellent job at giving the pros/cons of an item. Plus it's terms that I can easily understand. Thanks again!
Looking yummy
Good job cooked it last night corn and mash, wife loved it. Your right I did it for hour 35 and it was falling apart while cutting, so hour 20, hour 25.
From frozen?
@@CalmVibesVee yes
@@paulqruel9290 I did it, it worked!
Gotta try this from frozen Doug. Thanks for the video!
+Caryn Mackey I did for you guys 😘😘😘
Stubbs has great liquid smoke. I rub it on the meat to use it as a binder and then the rub.
looks goods, we have discussed on cheating and buying Thanksgiving from Krogers this year. Gave away my Instant Pot pressure cooker, miss it already. Bought a Carey brand pressure cooker that is also a electric canner so I can can foods that need to be pressured canned. It is even designed for high altitudes. Anyhow, we have used it to make a couple items, fixed pinto beans yesterday and they came out good, but I like the Instant pot brand for pressure cooking best.
We fixed last year a turkey breast, thawed, in the Instant Pot and it was fantastic, great flavor, just some butter, salt and pepper, chicken broth and I forgot the other spices, but nothing spicy for us. Fell off the bone, so juicy and tender. Pressure cookers can do a great job in fixing a meal.
Thank u so much
I bought extra turkey breasts and I'm going to follow your recipe except for the smoke liquid which I don't have.
Looks good 😊
They are $11 in NY
Thanks for video, what is your kitchen gadget FB group
U awalys make me hungry!!
02:11 looks like the alien before it zapped him.
yummmmmmm
What is the weight limit for a turkey in a 6QT PC THANKS
7 lbs
In under 2 hours your eating a good thanksgiving dinner right from the freezer.
WHAT was that paper towel thingy? You gotta share!
How long do you think it would take if not frozen?
He said 40 min.
Looks good! The only thing I wouldn't care for is the Complete Seasoning. It has MSG in it...
Winner Winner Turkey dinnah! Haven't tried turkey in my air fryer...hmmm
+Booger500us do it babes...we would LOVE to see it...thanksgiving is coming up 😘😘😘
hehe no pressure!
Do these turkey breast have to be cleaned like a regular turkey
Doug your turkey breast looks juicy and delicious turned out great your getting really good with the pressure cooker.
Where's the gravy lol
What about that gravy packet? Instructions were confusing. When they say Turkey juice are they referring to the packet or the juice from the package of turkey? You didn't show that part.
Sorry, I'm a diesel mechanic and we tend to read directions differently than other people. Probably all the soot going to the brain...
So, for the commenters here who dislike liquid smoke, do you also dislike barbecue?
Dumb question.
90 minutes is avg for a frozen turkey breast.
Look good keep videos coming go lions
wish you had told us how many pounds it was. I have a 7 lb one to cook. From what I can see on your label 1:52 it's a 4 lb??? Otherwise a great video.
+Kevin D. 3lbs
I couldn't watch any longer once you added liquid smoke.
Okie dokie lol lots of people use it but ok 😂😂🤣🤣
Why?
It's too overpowering. But to each his own.Or her own.
