Hey, armour paint is also available for iPad. It's a bit buggy and quirky but it does work

Thanks for the heads up! I’ll have to check that out! Anyone else know of any other apps that fall into these categories?

Nice! I have not tried that one yet I’ll take a look at it. Do you like it?

Maya is obviously soo much more than retopo. Have you come across any other mobile apps that address the other areas? Box modeling, rigging, animation, etc?

That's a great point lol. : ) No I haven't but that would be interesting. Has anyone else found any of these types of apps?

Forger on the iPad does box modeling. No rigging apps yet but there’s Naomi animation app for 3D animation. Both these apps are subscription based

Hey David, i hope you're doing great, thanks for the informative video, i would like to have your guidance, i really wanna try modeling games assets and props mostly stylized, and of course never tried it before, is Nomad sculpt for sculpting only or you can model with it ? Again i have zero experience ..thanks in advance !!

Thanks for the question! Think of it like this - there is 2 types of sculpting organic and hard surface. Organic is anything living and hard surface is everything else. Nomad sculpt is really only good for organic sculpting. If you want sculpt props for games you would need to do hard surface modeling. I would suggest using blender on a desktop. It’s free. I suppose you could use Mixamo…. Not really an app but wouldn’t have to leave the iPad!

It can help but at this stage it cannot replace the mentioned apps 😅

I agree but it seems crazy that it is even in the conversation. Technology is advancing at such a rapid rate.
