It's looks and feels great. Except I had a major fret buzz issue when I got the thing. It was so bad I couldn't play any string past the 5th fret without the string completely muting or buzzing completely. Of course I was new to guitars and though it was just the strings. To my surprise it was the neck. I took it to a professional to see if I just needed a truss rod adjustment. Instead she told me the guitar wasn't assembled properly and the neck wasn't flush with the body. I'm not expect much from a cheap guitar but I would at least appreciate it if the factory tested their product. This wasn't isn't even the worst part. After playing e-mail tag with the company I finally got to send them the guitar back for "repair" (at the low cost of $70 shipping, of course) so they assess the instrument onto to conclude that the cone was damaged. Now I'm not an expert on this but I don't think a damaged cone causes a guitar to mute it's strings entirely. Anyways, 1 month later and there still is no guitar. (I'm guessing they actually tested it before they were ready to send it back and found the problem persisted) so, I emailed them once again to find out it would be another 4 weeks until I get the guitar back. I'm expecting it tomorrow and I'm praying that they didn't screw it up. (I also put $13 strings on that beauty so I'm beyond dissapointed by my experience. Still I wasn't exactly surprised about the whole thing. After all it is a guitar under $300)
@@faautobahna9416 I still had fret buzz when I got it back. So, I adjusted the truss rod and honed the frets. Plays fine now. However, beware that these things do not come set up from the factory and you will have to some work to get it playable. Also, the tobacco burst on the body is a wrap and not an actual finish.
I recieved mine a few days ago. Great sound but i wish the action was a little bit higher. I play slide. The high e string was very close to the first fret so i put som paper between the string and the nut to raise the action a little bit. Where is the truss rod located? Is it underneath the little plastic cover on the headstock?
could you have a vid of this guitar with picks, I have to agree with a little wider neck if this neck is the same as the acoustic model of the dirty 30's guitar i played today, i am a big guy with big hands so a little wider wouldn't hurt maybe this is something you could offer say 1 11/16 or 1 15/16 as an option
Player seems to be out of his element, like he's not familiar with the appropriate style to play for this guitar. It's a nice looking instrument, but the matte finish body clashes with the highly polished resonator cover.
Love that guitar. Matte finish with shiny is a great contrast. Vintage vibe. Great looking instrument

why don't you get some smaller hands
Does anyone know of a half decent case for these?
Can anyone please tell me if you are able to reverse the bridge on this resonator to play left handed?
probably possible, also reverse the nut
Anybody knows where are they crafted ?
USA designed, china made... but great shovel, I got 1
What is the default tuning for the guitar with factory strings?
I have that guitar but it sounds like banjo any clue why?
