Oh my goodness.... I know this is an old video, but Chad getting choked up about his girls opened up the floodgates for me. This dad misses his girls too, Chad. Every day they're away.
Thanks for a great video. Brought back many great memories. The rafting company was the one that I went on with my teen boys over 10 years ago when we visited Grand Teton National Park. Seeing you have so much fun with your girls reminded me of the fun I had with my boys on our visit. 2 years later we visited Glacier so I am really enjoying your video's. Safe travels. Keep em coming.
Tara, I feel so sorry for you that you had to change/cancel your plans with your family because of your migraine. You have beautiful daugthers, well time spent together is precious. This corner of the US has so many beautiful sights to offer, thanks for sharing with us while we're stuck in our house.
Thank you very much for this awesome video. Beautiful scenery, honest Rvers, admitting mistakes, feeling pain, enjoying happiness together. Greetings from Bavaria, Germany.
Tara so sorry you felt so bad with your condition. I felt for you in the car. Sorry you missed the river trip too. It was definitely a God sin for you to go back to the RV!! Chad, you are a superb husband and father!!! Love your videos and your knowledge about everything 🤗😊
We loved exploring the Tetons; so glad you did as well! Tara, we could see your disappointment at missing a few hours, but it’s pretty clear Chad knows how to love you continuously and love the time spent with his girls with and without you, so win-win-win for everyone! Cherish these journies as not everyone is as lucky as all of us to do these walk abouts! Cheers guys and big hugz!!
Nothing replaces quality time with your kids. Once they get their own families, life changes a lot. Great footage. So sorry you had to miss out Tara, but I’m sure you still got to enjoy the girls. Thanks
We loved our trip to this area. If you are looking for a place to stay that is convenient for both parks, we would recommend Headwaters Lodge and Campground. We had a a great spot with full hookups for our 40 ft toyhauler with plenty of room to park the truck as well. Easy to maneuver through the area, decent wifi. The campground is right off the highway between the two parks. 1hour to Old Faithful, 30 minutes to Colter Bay lodge and Marina in Teton Park
Leave the raft early... lol. Recalling a vacation when we rafted the Nantahala near Cherokee, NC. My daughter's paddle got "stuck" in my PFD, pushing me under water hanging outside our raft. I lived to tell the story.
This is a great video. I really love watching it. I have been to Jackson, WY on a water rafting trip (group my college in Logan, Utah), and this was so great to see the places I have been on your video. I love Jackson and Jackson Square. Your daughters are beautiful. Be safe. I am a new subscriber after watching this video. Thanks for sharing. Oh, that barn, seen it in many photos.
I have to go back to youtube on laptop to like your videos. I usually watch on my TV via Apple TV. I might could do it there, but this is just as easy. Keep making great videos.
We just decided to start traveling the US instead of taking cruises every year and we're thinking of renting a class A or class C. (Don't want to tow.) My wife and I love your videos as they are so informative on real issues that matter. From technology to route planning, you're the best! We're in the Tampa area as well. We're going to rent first to try it out and make sure we're up to the challenge. Our first trip may be the Grand Canyon. Keep up the good work!
During these crazy times I'm glad tour videos are behind. It gives me something to look forward to watching while my rig sits in the garage. Glad to see you guys having fun with the girls. Nice job.
We've just added Grand Tetons as our next family adventure because of your video. Beautiful scenery and beautiful family! Thank you so much for sharing. We really look forward to your videos... your honesty and sincerity is so refreshing. Stay well!
I am from KY. My wife and I went to Teton Village, Jackson etc. We did go to Wilson too. Right there next to Teton Village. We stopped at the garden center in Wilson. I saw a lady there and told my wife I knew her. My wife thought I was nuts. Found out she was the owner. Further found out I did know her. She was the daughter whom I had a crush on in high school, that lived acrossed the street in KY. Great video!
Just to let you know, Chad it doesn't get any easier. I'm 70 and my girls in their 40s and I still get choked up at times. Ha, ha. Hope Tara is better in next video. Thanks for sharing your life and travels.
Creekside Market is a great little sandwich place just before you get to the park. They are delicious and affordable especially considering the price of food in Jackson Hole.
Great video once again. Beautiful scenery and learned a note to self. Don't do Grand Tetons and Yellowstone from the same base camp. Thanks for the PSA. Also glad you got to spend some time with your daughters.
Great video sorry Tara wasn’t feeling well and you had so many issues but all the better for us learning from you guys. Great to see Chad’s feelings for his girls too hopefully we will be heading out there this year if things settle down ! Stay safe you guys and thanks for the great video !
Stumbled upon your channel while researching Yellowstone and really enjoyed your videos. You both seem down to earth, are generous with your info and great photography/video work :)
Welcome to small town RV parks not destination parks. Also Teton pass is gorgeous, the mountain passes are what we love about living in this part of the country!!👍👍
Great video; you guys are the best of youtube! We love your videos. Awesome to see you guys had some time with your kids. We have been talking about Grand Teton for a while so your experiences will help us plan. Thanks and keep safe Tara and Chad.
Awe you missed the waffles at the top of Rendezvous Mountain at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort! My kids work there and drive over that pass everyday from Victor to JHMR! I hope you get to visit again!
OMG, Tara. I feel for you. I had 3-4 migraines a month and was on the strongest med. It worked but knocked me out for 2 days. I left my stressful job and they went away! I don't know how you manage. No one can understand the overwhelming urge to rip half your head off, tight? I'm glad the girls had a good time with Dad. Good memories made.
Closing in on 100k subscribers, congrats! We just upgraded to a 2021 Grand Design Reflection 311 BHS and we're rewatching this episode to help with planning our trip to the Tetons this August, (as long as things don't get shut down again) 🤞
Loved the video, I really like the way you guys just roll with whatever is happening. You're girls are a chip off the old block, and it looks like they had a great time
Hello Chad and Tara and of course Daisy. My wife and I were shopping for an RV and had our Eye on the 397th, however, ultimately decided it was a bit too big for our outdoor camping adventures. We decided to purchase the Momentum 351m. I am writing on this particular video because this is our neck of the woods. We live 20 minutes south (Blackfoot) of where you picked your girls up from in Idaho Falls. We are lucky enough to live in this beautiful part of the country. There is soooo much more in this area you would love to explore. I love watching your videos for tips and tricks and what to avoid :D. We are super jelly of the fact you RV full time. I love your bike it is very nice. Have you ever ride ATV or UTV's ? You need to come back to Idaho and explore our awesome Trails. Happy RVing
We stayed at a really great campground while in the Teton area. Check out Dubois WY and the Longhorn Ranch RV Resort. It's on the Wind River. Most amazing scenery all around you and REALLY spacious sites. Check out Big Horn sheep tours and all the glyphs on rocks in the area. Ask the locals about it.
That first flight in to Jackson with the view of the Tetons rising up is breath taking. You never ever forget your first trip. ❤️❤️❤️ Our mistake? We spent $400 in downtown Jackson on sweatshirts, T-shirts etc. Our last day we went to the K Mart there and they had a great selection of souvenirs for half price of what we paid. And they had bear spray cheap. Lesson learned. 😂😂 . Thanks for sharing.
When we were there, we had a reservation to stay in Yellowstone Park. But we found a place we preferred in the town of West Yellowstone when we got there. The park was very accommodating in accepting our cancellation because they had a whole line of people waiting for cancellations so they could get in. The west entrance is just a short drive from Old Faithful and the attractions of the park, unlike the east entrance. We were really glad we did that!!
I'm sure they (RV Park) could offer up brokering a swap too if someone was "settling" for full hookups away from the middle. Even in that park, you're still not close to much. You pretty much have to drive everywhere.
Ok Chad and Tara, I don't know where to start... GREAT VIDEO !!! Chad, your daughters are adorable, cute and sassy !! I got choked up just watching your reaction, talking about missing your kids. I have three boys that grew up with my ex-wife, and I too only got to see and visit with them once or twice a year while they were growing up. I always tried to make memorable times during the time I did have to spend with them. Emotions always pulled the heart strings when it was time to say our good-bye's. I remarried back in 1995 to a good woman, Jan, and she and I are "two peas in a pod", we get along great, and she's my best friend. She has always loved my kids as her own, and I adopted her two year old son shortly after we got married (he was my best man at our wedding). Tara, I understand what it's like to live with such a debilitating disease, it can spin on a dime and disrupt any plans with little or no advanced warning. My wife, Jan, fell off a 6' ladder in our garage back in 2007 while getting a box from off an overhead storage rack. She had a ruptured, herniated disk in her lower back from the fall, and in 2012 was diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) which is chronic nerve pain that can flair-up anytime without notice. Around our house, we live life "one hour at a time". Jan can be bed-ridden for days at a time, and like Chad said (regarding your feeling bad about missing out on the Snake River running activity), "it is what it is, we just deal with it". Chad, it's great to know you are her rock and are there for her, for emotional support during the bad-days !! I often retreat to my den or my man cave (garage) to cry my eyes out when my own emotions are more than I can handle. We place our faith and trust in our Father in Heaven to see us thru our trials in life. NOW, to end on a POSITIVE NOTE... I have many childhood memories of Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. Jackson Lake (Colter Bay) is where I learned to water ski. Every two years, my parents would take us kids (with another neighboring family) for a two week stay. The Grand Teton's are truly a majestic wonder to behold, but then, so is Yellowstone!!! Maybe one day, Jan and I will be able to travel (by 5th-wheel of course) to many of the beautiful places you two have been. Thanks for Sharing!!! HAPPY EASTER!!!!! :)
Great video guys!! My wife has relatives in Jackson Hole. We travelled there before and it was fun to see some of the attractions we know featured in your video. One thing you guys missed is flying into Jackson Hole Airport. The airport is "In the hole". The plane lands nose first (like going to crash) what a rush! Leaving the plane takes off like you are going to the moon!!!
Flagg Ranch Campgrounds and Cabins is just a couple of miles south of the south entrance to Yellowstone and has a very nice RV park. Large spaces, tall trees, water, electricity, laundry and a dump station. And a lodge with a store and restaurant just across the street. So you're in the very north part of Grand Teton, just outside Yellowstone. Great place to stay. Very convenient to both parks but not in the traffic zone of either park.
Tara and Chad I think we where there about the same time you where, talk about a small world. We had just bought our first camper and went on a camping trip with it. I know it is not like your rig but it is our first and we love it until we can afford a different one. We are learning a lot from you guys and also your friends at Enjoy The Journey. We have a 33' pull along bunkhouse. We went to a family reunion in Afton WY for about a week and a half and then decided to take a week in the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National parks. Like you, we failed at planning but we still had fun of the adventure. BTW your kids look great and you looked like you guys had so much fun. We only had 6 of my 9 kids with us and the camper did well. After coming home did I schower RUclips for tips on things Like tires and vehicle capabilities to tow. I was shocked to find that c rated tires made the trip with no problems I'm looking at H rated now. We camped at the north end of The Grand Teton Park at a state run campground and got to stay there for two nights and Yellowstone state run campground for three nights. I was amazed that we got in at the first place with out a reservation and the second with a reservation on the fly. Both were heavily wooded and beautiful. Too bad we did not know ya then or could have met up. We went though Jackson Hole also and that long road with the view of the Grand Tetons. We got to see a family of Bears and a pack of wolves running across the road in front of us. We were also privy to see some moose. The one problem I had was everyone would pull over or even block the road just to see these dangerous creatures, even getting out of the safety of their car's. Very frustrating. We took pictures from the truck while moving. We had a really good time. When the kids are all gone we plan on going full time or at least semi part time RVing. Please keep the informative blogs coming. You are doing a good job.
Chad, Maybe someone already said this but I have been using rv trip wizard for 4 years and it's the best. When checking out places hit reviews and blue highlighted on reviews will take you right to the campground website, hit amenities and you can see if they have WiFi. I also use the Rand McNally RVND 7720 gps, you set your rv length/height/weight/ propane tanks. It warns you of dirt roads and low bridges. The wife and I really like your channel. You can import your trip from RV trip wizard.
I drive a 3horse Living quarters horse trailer. I have never been scared driving, until I went over Teton Pass . I barely made it up that thing. So steep!!!
You guys make me want to take my boys here with my wife and I. Once this Covid-19 carp is done. Glad you had a great time with you little ladies. Looks like Dad had a great time. Mom, sorry you weren't feeling well.
Great video. Loved seeing the girls cracking up over the bear sounds. Wondering whether you have ever rafted the fall drawdown of the Gauley River? Plenty of class IV and V rapids. The girls would love it. Safe travels.
I was there this year for skiing and would love to return for RVing. It’s great to see the kids and the adventure you had with them. I’m of the same age and have some limited days left with our youngest of three boys (16 yo). Hopefully the season isn’t totally disrupted with the pandemic. Great post!
This was really a really enjoyable video you two! Being away from our kid(s) (and grandkids) sure does make it tough, but it's also tough when we do live close and don't get a lot of time with them. You can sure tell you're a great dad Chad and Tara, we are so sorry you have to go through the effects from the lyme disease. 😢 Michelle used to get those migraines often and they are no fun. Stay safe out there guys.
Nice video guys! Are you still hunkered down in the south? I was jonesing for a new vid from you guys! It's that whole self quarantine thing! Well it was awesome to see the Tetons and more footage from your adventure. Please keep safe and look forward to more. I'm still catching up on your other vids too. ( oh crap!, I just saw your reveal about Lyme.. Sorry to hear that..Glad you're still getting out and enjoying life... Definitely be safe then.. Please..)
I religiously watch you guys every Monday morning, with coffee and getting my work week started. As soon as the video started, talking about Chad's girls visiting, I was like "I truly hope Tara has a good week." I hope Tara feels better in the next video. My wife and I love your channel, it has the best mix of how-to and destination information. Waiting impatiently for next week's video. Semper Fi, to Changing Lanes!
I feel your pain with the migraines, as our daughter had them for years and really bad. She takes something now and so much better for her! Nice video of a wonderful area. We have been there multiple times. Having lunch in the Grand Teton lodge is awesome experience!
Great vid guys!! Loved it all!! I’ve said it before but I moved from the mountains of N. CA to Montana last summer, even though I live in this beauty now, I loved watching your enjoyment and the beautiful scenery!!
Another great video guys, I had a smile on my face the whole way through and i even teared up a little when you did Chad about your girls, cool stuff guys, love it.
You said it, Jackson Hole is a wonderful location, has been since time started. Only drawback is, residential homes in there start around $1 Million and go up. Many well off folks have acreage in this area and that has upped the cost of residential property in large ways. Other than the few months of very cold climate, Jackson Hole is rated way up there. You probably need a couple of weeks to spend there unless you want to return. The fishing in Yellowstone Lake is amazing, cutthroat trout...big ones and tasty. Thanks for the Vi-deo.
If y'all were looking for the elusive "giggling bear" you should have found it! Perfect stalking technique. Nice to see you having a good time with your girls, Chad. They're absolutely adorable. I wish you could have joined them more, Tara. You're definitely a trooper but it's still hard to hide when you're not feeling well, especially with a migraine. A brave face does nothing to help unfortunately. By the time you got in the truck it had gotten you. Keep hangin, kid. You have a great outlook and give out such positivity it will come back to you to help when you need. Rest when you can and keep up the awesome vids you two. Take care. Troy
It was the Chatooga, actually.. 😊 Thier first time on bigger rapids. But, we started out when they were little on the Nantahala. And that water is COLD!
Great video. On Schwabacher Landing - we hope you kept walking past the spot you showed as it gets better down the trail. Tara, I feel for ya, I've got issues sometimes too. Hope you are doing well.
Wow, you're in our neck of the woods. We're about 20 miles south of Ashton. The one thing I can say about eastern Idaho is it is very close to a lot of beautiful places.
Great video. We are hoping this mess we are in clears up because we are supposed to go to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons at the end of June and beginning of July.
Chad you’re a great man and a great father my kids live with me and when I’m away I get choked up to because I miss them you guys do a great job on your videos love to watch them
Love the way you guys put it out there. Good, bad and ugly. I still want to go!!!! What time of year is best? How many weeks do you recommend for a relaxing tour of the area? Tara: as a fellow migraine suffer I keep a bottle of flonase(Costco has the generic family pack)and excedrine migraine in the truck, purse and rig. If I catch it with a dose of both at the very start it usually knocks it down pronto. Thanks again for the fun.
Oh my goodness.... I know this is an old video, but Chad getting choked up about his girls opened up the floodgates for me. This dad misses his girls too, Chad. Every day they're away.
It is ALWAYS a pleasure to watch your videos. Another home run! IMHO of course.
How fun! Wonderful family memories!

Teton village is cool we took the tram up the mountain where they have a little waffle place on top good stuff!!
Very cool to have your daughters with you. Very sad to see Tara suffer and have to miss family activities. Go Navy and Stay safe.
family reunion is always a great thing, hope you had a great time with your girls
Nothing replaces quality time with your kids. Once they get their own families, life changes a lot. Great footage. So sorry you had to miss out Tara, but I’m sure you still got to enjoy the girls. Thanks

True.. liking on the tv is a pain.. We need like buttons on all remotes!

Real men get chocked up from time to time brother....especially over our kids! Great video and as always, love the channel.
Nice to have time to spend with your girls!
Thanks for keeping the RV adventure dream alive
Any day spent with the Family is a perfect day!
Great job. Enjoyed the video!
What a nice touching video, Good job guys!!!
During these crazy times I'm glad tour videos are behind. It gives me something to look forward to watching while my rig sits in the garage. Glad to see you guys having fun with the girls. Nice job.
Love following both of you. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your adventures
You are both such nice people. You let us know that everything does not always go as planned, but no drama. Stay safe.
We've just added Grand Tetons as our next family adventure because of your video. Beautiful scenery and beautiful family! Thank you so much for sharing. We really look forward to your videos... your honesty and sincerity is so refreshing. Stay well!
What a great video, got to learn a little more about your you both ! Love the outtakes and jokes too!

Thanks for your videos and feedback of pros and cons of RV's Iv learned a lot from your advice I also have Lyme disease and my fur baby is Daisy lol
What a wonderful trip your family had. Your girls are beautiful. I’m a mom and I know.
Creekside Market is a great little sandwich place just before you get to the park. They are delicious and affordable especially considering the price of food in Jackson Hole.

Great fun video. Good to see you and your daughters having fun and Wow, what a white water cruise. Three or four can't fit on the Indian.
Great video sorry Tara wasn’t feeling well and you had so many issues but all the better for us learning from you guys. Great to see Chad’s feelings for his girls too hopefully we will be heading out there this year if things settle down ! Stay safe you guys and thanks for the great video !

Thanks for that touching commend, Doug! Tara is definitely my person. Hey.. at least we got it right the second time! 😊
Such a delight to watch your tour of the Tetons while we are stuck at home. Happy Easter.
Have to get over and see that next time!
Great drone work.
Great tip! Thanks! 😊
You pretty much just covered everything in this video... 😉 ruclips.net/video/kvifp-Ldr2A/видео.html
We love RVTW.
I drive a 3horse Living quarters horse trailer. I have never been scared driving, until I went over Teton Pass . I barely made it up that thing. So steep!!!
Yea.. that 10% grade is a beast!
We'll be joining June 28, 2020 as we've followed in your steps, hope to see you on the road or the campground!
Congrats and safe travels! 😀
Wonderful content. Love the channel.
You guys make me want to take my boys here with my wife and I. Once this Covid-19 carp is done.
Glad you had a great time with you little ladies. Looks like Dad had a great time. Mom, sorry you weren't feeling well.
Can you please tell me what that song is that you played in the background?
You guys should check out lake Roosevelt. It sits on the backside of grand coulee dam here in WA. I think you guys would really like it. :)
Such a beautiful part of the country. And your daughters look like you! la familia! Thanks for taking us along! Love the vids
Happy Easter Chad and Tara !
I feel your pain with the migraines, as our daughter had them for years and really bad. She takes something now and so much better for her! Nice video of a wonderful area. We have been there multiple times. Having lunch in the Grand Teton lodge is awesome experience!
Beautiful daughters! Great memories! I can't imagine having migraines. Sorry you have to deal with that!
Take care. Troy
Your “failure” is our lesson. Our grandkids are in MT and when we go full time we’re headed out west first thing.
Ooo, I think I saw Nantahala 👀
It was the Chatooga, actually.. 😊 Thier first time on bigger rapids. But, we started out when they were little on the Nantahala. And that water is COLD!
Great video. On Schwabacher Landing - we hope you kept walking past the spot you showed as it gets better down the trail. Tara, I feel for ya, I've got issues sometimes too. Hope you are doing well.
I think we walked to the end, but we didn't walk very far that I remember...
Wow, you're in our neck of the woods. We're about 20 miles south of Ashton. The one thing I can say about eastern Idaho is it is very close to a lot of beautiful places.
Excellent Guys Thanks 😎🇺🇸💪
Loved the video! Made me laugh. Glad you had a good time with your girls! Happy Easter and stay safe!
Should stay at Gros Venter Campground in Grand Teton NP 🤗.
Great video. We are hoping this mess we are in clears up because we are supposed to go to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons at the end of June and beginning of July.
We hope it does too! We have reservations in the Northeast.
Wow, love you guys, I have stayed at Gros Vant, it was good but Colter Bay campgrounds was the best.
Chad you’re a great man and a great father my kids live with me and when I’m away I get choked up to because I miss them you guys do a great job on your videos love to watch them
Is definitely a beautiful area
LOVE you guys videos. They make me sad because we bought a 5th wheel a year ago. Husband's truck broke down. It looks good sitting is storage.😪😥
Oh no! Hope you can get the truck fixed and get back out there after this pandemic is over! 👍🏼
Thanks again for the fun.
well done
It's wonderful seeing the amount of Love that is shared in your family. Many Blessings and Happy Easter
What great family time!
