Dealing with spouse who suffers from depression can be so draining, it's like a leak that drips forever in the background, no matter what you do. Just ask my Ex, how hard it was on him to go through those "Dark Nights of the Soul" with me. It finally was a factor among others that caused him unable to cope and we mutually agreed it was best we separate , end the marriage part and stay friends and it works for us.
