I had a heart attack in 2019 and also had high bp ..that h i didnt know about i was taking bp medication for close to 2 years however, 6 months ago i made these fundamental changes to my lifestyle listed from THE most important ..(descending order) 1. BIGGEST change, anyone should make, is...do NOT eat anything after 5 or 6 pm ( until 8,9 am at least. 10 am is better) something so easy to do, yet its a mini miracle. No need for any special diet. Just dont eat after 5. 2. Avoid carbs as much as you can. No bread... period. no rice, no chips, no potatoes. NO carbs if you can help it these are the top two other things i did 3. Drink fresh lemon juice ....in two cups of luke warm water,first thing in the morning 4. Eat a lot of chopped celery in yogurt,kefir for lunch 5. eat 5ozes of lightly sauteed salad + 2,3 eggs, for breakfast and dinner ( 9 am and 4,5pm) 6. Eat a lot of sauteed brussels sprouts for breakfast and dinner. ive gone down from 174 pounds in december to 148 today. ( june15,21) my doctor ok'ed my stopping metoprolol 2 months ago. my bp is 114,81 or thereabouts, instead of 150/95 etc. just my 2cents. im not selling anything. 😃 good luck
I agree. I also thought most of the vitamin C in the lemon was in the skin. If that is true then you would benift far more by consuming the entire lemon
