  • In this video, we'll show you how to copy files between SharePoint tenants using Power Automate. This can be a great way to quickly and easily move files between environments for testing or development purposes.
    We'll start by creating a new flow in Power Automate, and then we'll use the Get Files action to select the files we want to copy from the source tenant and then we'll use the Copy Files action to copy them over to our other tenant.

    Hello thank you for sharing the useful content. Is it advisable to add a new connection from a different domain(organisation) which is having a guest user access

    This was great! We need a method to move all files from one modern site to another. Does this PA have a limitation for how many files it can move at a time?

      Power automate by default will do 100 files only. You can increase this limit to 2000. If you are looking to migrate huge volumes consider using PowerShell or a third party migration tool

    How can I ensure that the destination files have the same creation and modification metadata as the source?

    • @KeaPointTechTips
      @KeaPointTechTips  Год назад +1

      If you use move file action instead of copy file, it will persist that data. Otherwise it will be a new copy of the file.

    Hi , I need to migrate/copy the documents from sharepoint document library from one to another with version history , and I have folders in the source library... can this be done with power automate and for the folder name I want a property in the destination library...

      Use Move Item feature of power automate

    • @richardwaldron1684

      @@KeaPointTechTips But the move function only lets you move content within the same subscription. The source and destination options are on the same window and can only be linked to a single user account, so one half of the move will always fail due to an authentication error. Do you know of any solution/workaround to this pls?
