There's an argument for the Jar Cannon if you can't get the mods or dupe some Golem's Great Arrows, same knockback potential with Explosive or Lightning Greatbolts. Now if only you could get Radahn's Rain on them...

Hey thanks for the upload, Chase. I'm pretty new to Elden Ring and I was invading a little bit ago and got killed by this really cool looking weapon. I forgot the name of it, but It looked like this decorated stick with a lavender flame on it, really cool stuff. You should definitely cover it one of these times!

spear talisman buffs arrow damage further & even though you mainly use the golem arrows, the radahn bow/spear buff stacks with an offhand copy of the bow

There's always that pure archer headshot build that requires some adept keyboard use to make the build work.
Bows aren't reliable but Chase is. If I got invaded by him and his character was naked with only a rickety shield I'd just accept that I'm not leaving alive.

Oh, fun fact for people because today is Greatbow day:
-Golem's Great Bow has about a 20% AR advantage over other greatbows, which is primarily why Chase uses it.
-Lion's Greatbow gives a 20% damage boost when using Radahn's spears (the arrows)
-If you have TWO Lion's Greatbows, the boost stacks multiplicatively, just like seals and staffs, for +42%!
-...However, the AoE effect of Golem's Greatarrows are what cause Radahn's Rain to hit people so reliably in PvP, Radahn's spears will usually miss unless the target is dragon-sized or the ceiling is low.
Ahhh that's why I haven't had much luck with Radahn's Rain. I did wonder why Chase one shots people and I just chip them, even when they stand still...

Bows are a great range option, much like the other ranged option of St Trina’s Torch albeit at shorter ranges.

I saw a guy with a Legolas bow build & it was insane!Golem great bow & the Radan great bow are massively deadly daggers on sticks. Got to give respect & bow to the bow builds. Let your arrows fly true Chase The Bow!
Started playing dark souls one remastered today, so far i went down to the tomb of the giants, got cock blocked by a golden door; took everything i could find down there; had a black knight fall off a cliff and it gave me a weapon; ran back up, that took a while; killed the minotaur on a bridge; cut a dragon tail; killed a metal pig; found a buff blacksmith; found lower londor; found a guy in red outfit; bought the spell he had; found blight town; explored what i could but it seems i cant continue forward from this direction; freed a golden knight from his cell; firekeeper died; and thats all that happened to me today, the weapon i have used the most so far is the halberd.

You probably need to farm a lot of Golem Great Arrows from the Golems in Caelid for this build to gain greater potential.
(use Arcane build so you can have a higher discovery stat in order to farm them easier)
@ChaseTheBro An interesting mechanic about the greatbow jump draw is that it has the fastest recovery to roll from fall heights that give you the super hero landing. So for players chasing you through verticality you can jump draw during the fall, roll to gain distance, and then jump draw to punish their super hero landing. Would be cool to see you try this out as I've found it to be very consistent for myself. Great video 👍the Siofra River Shenanigans was my favorite.

Hi! Been enjoying your vids for a bit. Since you seem to have near mastery over the PvP in this game I'd love to see you do the following:
-Mimic Builds. Upon invading, you match the armor, weapons, and/or magic/faith talismans they have. You beat them with their own build. If you spot more than one player at a time in this way, pick the player in the most center of the screen.
-Stealth. Somewhat inspired by this bow vid, I'd love to see how exploitative you could be if you didn't have this glowing red 'here the f--k I am' aura and used stealth to your advantage. How many players could you kill without them over noticing you until it was too late?
-Bloodlusted. You use the most OP build you can think of using all the tricks in your arsenal to be as deadly as possible. No gimmicks. Just murder.
-Force Monk. You may only use fist weapons and the Noble Presence, Rejection, and Wrath of Gold incantations.
-PvE Gauntlet. Take any build you've ever done and run it through the TOUGHEST PvE Gauntlet you can possibly think of with one catch: you can't use any type of Estus at anytime and you can't use consumable items. Only what's on your armor, weapon, spells, and ashes of war. that's it. If any build you construct in this way passes the Gauntlet, then see if this same build can be used in PvP to success.
Hi, Chase! Have you ever considered trying to use a deathblight focused build, for the hell of it? I know the Eclipse Shotel is considered pretty bad but I'm curious what it can do in the hands of an extremely skilled player like yourself.

In the hands of a competent player, greatbows have to be one of the hardest and most annoying weapons to deal with as a host, especially if you are in a location that allows for a lot of vertical movement or gravity death options.
I really hope they add at least ONE more Greatbow for us to play with in the DLC. I'm gonna do my classic build for a first playthrough but for my second I'm cooking up a ranger build for that Auto Crossbow.
