If you ever do a bow build again on the shortbows use the Barrage skill. You jump shot sleep arrows and when they sleep you can barrage at least 3 poison/rot/bleed arrows and it makes it much easier to triggers the status

And barrage is really a must have for status application, especially on enemies that can dodge repeated shots (PvE phantoms and PvP players). Quite useful, therefore black bow = best short bow (that is a longbow XD)
Black Bow would be cool to see in the future. It's unique in the sense it's a full sized bow with the Barrage AoW, meaning you don't sacrifice dps when building DoTs

Just... Set a timer on your phone? I have 32 presets for sections of cooking I do, like when I am making Tahdig rice dishes, my oven and pot cook the rice perfectly at 22 minutes 30 seconds, if I put it on at the same time I put my electric hob on, so it includes the heat up time.
While l never did a pure bow build i did do a full Str build with 0 magic so i loved Radahns rain and my Gargoyle Twinblade. It was actually a ton of fun not having magic to help with range or curing ailments. It made me use the crafting system a ton more and had to think a little more when fighting.
The double kill with Radahn's Rain right at the start is definitely the highlight of the video for me! The rest of just icing on the cake to show what bows can do in this game!

Agreed, would be great to get a guide on this. I can never get this many PVP interactions outside of the arena, which I find kinda boring at times. I think being at the 125-150 level range helps though.
If you get slow invasions try using both the Bloody Finger and Recusant Finger after the other. That way you you find one faster instead of letting a finger search every 20/30 sec
I tend to invade level 125-200, 125 being the most active followed by 139,150 and 200. all are very active for me though on ps5. Pc is definitely a lot slower if that is the platform you mainly play on

Enchanted Shot is worth giving a try, it is so fast and accurate that it is actually extremely difficult for players to dodge. Not as much damage as mighty shot, but very reliable accuracy
Dont sleep on the St. Trina's Torch, when you could be torching your opponent's into a permanent slumber, also if you offhand the serpent bow EVERY arrow fired builds 19 poison and it stacks on itself with the serpant arrows and the best punish for sleep with bows is barrage with serpent arrows
I’d use the black bow over misbegotten, and I’d throw enchanted shot on the misbegotten. They’re all pretty hard to use effectively though. Well played.
i‘m making a beastial bowman atm. golem, lion, misbegotten bow but also the cinquedea, beastial incantations and maybe i add the beast hammer once i get it. i never had so much fun playing the PVE
I like to use golem in main hand with rad on offhand and use his gravity bolts if I’m trying to get a headshot on a low vigor person. Other than that I’ll use the golem bow and arrows, if I farm enough for pvp. RNG seems to be on a fixed cycle that I’m testing out, but I’ve noticed that when I kill the golem for his arrows and they don’t drop the first 5 runs, I’ll engage him and then relog back in based on the amount of times I hit him, and he will drop a stack of 5. However I am carrying a great bow offhand and carrying a stack of 5 unique arrows. Until I run these 3 locations 100 times each with several different loadouts to confirm the loadout/amount of hits that you have to relog to get the drops, it’s just all speculation as of now, but so far I’ve been lucky. When I play bow I’ll use keyboard and mouse because I can hit anyone rolling and running 90% of the time, and I get off headshots much more often. Especially when I hit the arcane cap that is for all procs, which is 45 and playing a misbegotten barrage bow with bleeds, and bloodpots with frost for the extra debuff damage. People really rage and turn into keyboard warriors, because 3 of them wearing and using meta builds that should easily stunlock you, and kill you on the first hit. They will either say that you are lag switching, cheating, or a poor scrub who can’t afford good internet, lol. Yet, it’s all excuses, because, if you irritate and kite one person in the banking group, they tend to break the groups communication and team work. Especially if you play off of a high vigor, minimum poise cap, and bait some one to jump attack you, and then you ROA yourself to kill whoever. If they don’t die immediately throw a pot at them, lol. I remember killing some dude throwing ruin fragments lol… that guy might’ve destroyed his PC, deleted his account, or became a serial killer after the insane threats he sent me, and then blocked me after I gave him my address and full name. His account was no longer available when I searched for him on my old CS 1.6 cal i-p account, when we were trying to hit pro in cs back in 04. Many other people tried looking for his account and it is indeed gone. I’ve never encountered anyone on steam who lost in a pvp invasion, and lost their shit, lol. Only during D2 body pop farms or getting someone’s wow account permanently banned for cheating. That’s the only time I’ve encountered people like that, lol. Anyway good content as always, and remember that through and through work perfectly in tight areas. You’ll also knock all 3 players down or get a lucky triple headshot lol.
Nice video man, btw have you tried barrage on the short bows? very fun and effective also the scarlot rot arrows are super weak, especially at higher levels due to resistance and ease of access to bolus
When i was playing ER, one of my favorite characters was the bow build i had. I used the black bow and many different arrow types with it. Of course i had a fella drop me an over abundance of resources for arrows, after we met in a dual, both using bows. Dude was nuts with the bow. Edit: btw, stormhawk arrows will break poise, somewhat allowing for a follow up of sleep, rot, bleed. That why the black bow was so good, with its AoW "barrage".

Thank you for another banger of a video. As for the suggestion, i am inspired by your comment on the crossbow using npc inside Lyendel. How about revisiting your old sleep crossbow setup. Have high arcane and then use the frenzy seal to do the frenzy pin attack or other equally cool attacks like life steal fist. I don't know if the timing is enough for that but i remember you pulled it off back then with lighting strike and another AOW. Please do this fun setup. Have a nice day/night!
I have been going through DS3 again to get all the achievements on PC, and I have been getting invaded quite a bit while also getting a few darkmoon saves as well. I must say, I have been seeing a lot of builds you uploaded back in the day lol.
That one build you had where you'd do the long wind up stab where the weapon (spear? polearm?) would extend forward and act like a drill, constantly damaging and gain damage based on hits. I wonder if you could sleep arrow someone, quickswap to that weapon and get them into hitstun fast enough? That may be the "most punishing" thing, since with the setup you had it'd pretty much be a 1-shot on anyone and have almost zero counterplay (if it works).
I use both a controller and a mouse at the same time, for my control over my camera. It's pretty hard to get used to, but if you do your keybinds well it's not bad.
A good way to get players to bow before a fight is to use St. Trina’s Torch.
