Love this series! Never heard of them but definitely want check them out now! Camera work/visuals were incredible, funny I was thinking shot on a RED or BM too. Great vid!
Literally started a new job TODAY at an architecture firm. Doing video storytelling for them. Been a student of the Local Project for years…you took the thoughts in my brain of their workflow and perfectly laid them out. So helpful, just like all your videos. Good work, Taylor!
@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo sorry I missed this! They/we have six workshops: architecture, interior design, historic restoration and preservation, estate management, design services, and construction. We're in Charleston, SC, so A LOT of historic properties to maintain and renovate. All translates nicely to video!
Great observations and good points, Taylor! I like how you pointed out that for a RE agent this style of video is not viable. Not only because they don't know the history of the house and they can't comment on the design process, but also because these videos take 10x longer to produce than a RE video. And they don't have the time or the budget to allow for that. A real estate agent just wants to show off the house in the quickest and most eye-catching way, whereas you can imagine an architect, who spent two-odd years designing and overseeing the construction of the house will want to showcase the artistic details, explaining their through process and choices of colours and materials. Two different styles, two different outcomes.
Well rehearsed and written commentary helps as well, as dose the voice of the commentator, it can make or brake a video like this. I agree on your visual points.
that's what I was thinking too about doing the interview first just to make sure I get hero shots of the big details they mention so I wouldn't miss them

Yup! Their videos look great!
Was shot on the BM 6k Pro in Braw :)
I very much appreciate this! ... been in love with The Local Project videos for very long time.
Thanks! Their videos are top quality for sure.
@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo Do you think Sony FX3 is a suitable camera for architecture cinematography like this?

So awesome! Let me know how it goes. What kind of work do they do?

Definitely! :)
Great video Taylor. Please do more of these reaction videos. Do them on different video styles for architecture, and real estate.
Thanks! More in the works 🙏

DP shoots on red, older ones are sony FX9 I think. I've followed this channel for a while.
Nice! Both amazing cameras.
Correct, did shoot on a Weapon Helium but changed to the 6Kpro for internal NDs
Nice! 6k Pro footage is so good 😊
how do you know which cameras they used? :)
@@immobilienvideo.bayern The guy who commented filmed it (Jacob Williams) :)
Love the Local Project videos. I also really like Artuto and Lauren for inspiration.
They are pro! Really well made. I’ll have to check them out too

Yeah! Pre production is key too. I’m sure they plan it all out ahead of time (and still improvise too) so it’s efficient and comes out right.
@@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo yea, I really try to keep that balance of planning and spontaneous, It can definitely be tricky
