this could be one of those videogame backrooms videos. random barriers all over the place that make no sense (for example at 8:03 on the right side. just an empty square barrier for nothing) . empty corners. signs facing the wrong direction.
The security at BER has got to be the worst in the Western (or Eastern) world….. I love Berlin, but the airport almost makes you want to take Deutsche Bahn….
I’ve to say that the BER airport is one of the few airports I really dislike. And ironically I’m from there. They don’t tell you what track is down at the station you’ve to go down to see and then go up again to find the right track. You’ve to walk like 15 min from the actual airport just to get to the train. Terminal 2 duty free is a disaster. Like other airport have better even the small one I departure from which was Værnes airport had a better duty free. Honestly do better at airport Berlin.

Literally everything you mentioned is completely wrong. Ugly airport - NO. Travelators - YES, they exist, try opening your eyes and not judge a big airport by a 9min video You have to walk for miles on end - NO.

That’s one ugly airport. And all those stairs. And no people mover conveyor belts. And it looks like you have to walk for miles on end.
The new security is an improvement. Hopefully they figure out their airport issues
