The working class I know come from Chipley, Bonifay, PDL, mossy head and they drive all the way down to watercolor 395. Many people have about a hour drive. I own a lot up there in Mossy head a 500% increase in value since 2021. People should buy now the cost of property is going up. My second home in Freeport doubled before the construction was complete three years ago. Some prices are stable but most have a 100% increase in three years. Lots on the north side of the bay are $600,000 off of hammock bay. Those are 3 million dollar homes. I saw the first bay property sold for 8 million last month in SRB. Five minutes from my house by jet ski. Walton county is for the wealthy if you are moving into the area. Old timers are passing on and leaving fortunes to their country family members.
