I own a lot up there in Mossy head a 500% increase in value since 2021. People should buy now the cost of property is going up. My second home in Freeport doubled before the construction was complete three years ago. Some prices are stable but most have a 100% increase in three years. Lots on the north side of the bay are $600,000 off of hammock bay. Those are 3 million dollar homes. I saw the first bay property sold for 8 million last month in SRB. Five minutes from my house by jet ski. Walton county is for the wealthy if you are moving into the area. Old timers are passing on and leaving fortunes to their country family members.

I born in a Tropical 🏝️ Island ( Cuba ) and I have been in NJ for 30 years . I cannot get used to this State still , specially in winter Season. Is dark at 5 pm and I never felt like I belong here . I followed my intuition and searching for several Cities in Florida, randomly I picked NiceVille . For my surprise, there is an Air Force Military Base close by and my 15 year old want to join in few years the Air Force . As a single mother this is a big step , but God led me to NiceVille and I know we will be very happy there . I lived in Crestview for a long time and finally got away! What is said in the video is totally true and honest. The traffic is a total nightmare and you have to plan your trips to the store around rush hour. Going out to dinner in crestview on a friday night can also mean at least a 45 minute wait, BUT there are some places to eat there that are worth the way.

I grew up in Gulf Breeze. Hurricanes are the least of your worries if you live here. There is NOTHING to do here. Cost of living is high. And she is right - you will have to drive to get to anything

Nothing to do in Gulf Breeze. I grew up there. There are no jobs either. You will have to have money to live here and not mind driving.

The police came up in a boat and were making people leave that 6 mile stretch when we were there in February. They were friendly about it, but you might want to ask the local officials if the public can really use it before you promote it. We had walked there for years and always stayed off the dunes, so we were really disappointed.

You 15:13 need to talk about how unless you live in a condo on the beach in Destin, very hard to even find any place to access a beach! Sorry, but your video is not believable.

I own/owned two homes in Crestview for 26 years and I retired recently as a medical professional in that town. I sold one home and hope to sell my second home soon. It’s already on the market. The town was a nice place to live up until the first decade of the 2000’s…….after 2010 or so, the town started drowning in its overgrowth. Traffic issues rage from sun up to sundown as there is only one main road (85) through town. It’s just too much for me at this point in my life. I’m relocating to a quieter life in neighboring North Walton County. It’s an easier, quieter living experience for those who no longer have to live the rat race lifestyle.

It was. Can never move back home. Too expensive. My ancestors that settled that town should have never let the military in.

Love Niceville. Moved here 3 years ago to be close to a family member who was aging. Love the small town feel. Feel extremely safe. Wish we had a couple more places to eat but haven't gone hungry yet!!
