as someone who grew up in this area its hilarious watching them piece together places that are like half an hour apart from each other into a single scene
I remember it being the first time in my life where I laughed out loud at a joke at the theater. When Blanc called Marta and then the camera showed him telling her to answer the phone, I don't know, I found his gestures and face expressions hilarious for some reason. That's the only time ever I lol'ed at a movie joke.
@@emalaw1329 No no, I am not justifying the title of the video, but the remark of the character itself. But looks like the composer too had the same opinion.
I get that Blanc was assuming Marta was being forced to drive but in the real world it seems like they would both be cuffed and in a jail cell at least until the police could sort through evidence. Also it seems like The police would wonder about why they would try to get away in such a shit car, Ransom might be evil but he is not dumb it wouldn't make sense for Ransom try and outrun them in that car and that would point alittle suspicion towards Marta.
Blanc knew that something was going on, he admits that he knew Marta was involved because of the drop of blood on her shoe. The whole joke of his character is that you assume he's a buffoon until the end, when he reveals he knows everything and was simply stringing people along to get the whole truth.
Details I love: 1. Her phone is cracked as heck she just has not bothered to have it fixed 2. 1:09 That’s Ransom’s car innit? There’s a cross on his rear view mirror, maybe handed down to him. But it feels like Marta has divine justice after her, after having tried to be a good person her whole life.
Even the police cars are calling Marta's little Hyundai pathetic! The Ford Explorers are driving over 80 mph, and Marta's little car is not even going 60!
1:34 A 2007 Accent with 110 horsepower can't even hit 60mph? I had a 1997 Ford Escort with same power rating, I pushed that thing to 105mph (and Esport was a bigger/heavier car) :)
You know what bothers me... If ransom would not had been an asshole, he would have actually got his part of his money and maybe him and Marta would have ended up together.
So many great humorous touches. Marta pukes in different objects throughout the film as part of the running gag. Also, having a beautiful actress repeatedly throwing up is humorously subversive, as it deglamorizes her.
You hate Netflix for buying a one-movie franchise, making another movie with the same creative in charge, and having it be well recieved? Even if you are in the minority that thought Glass Onion was bad, I don't know how you could blame Netflix.

Maynard and Natick, it seems to me. Correct?
@@testingnow9302 yes and yes, but there's a few other places there too I believe
Where are these places?
It s the same for every movie car chase ^^

Wtf
All this for 100 likes?
maybe they meant laugh OUT LOUD. they probs laughed in the cinema before but not as loud as they did with this scene@@JIDcrit
Weird thing to lie about. Nobody believes you or thinks you're cool for not laughing. Yikers bro
It’s so dumb, it’s brilliant!
No! It's just dumb!
Lmao I only watched this movie because I watched the second movie last night on netty, now I feel hooked on murder mystery movies 😅
How ?
@@phialich1898got that hahaha
NO NO IT’S JUST DUMB !
never knew that they mentioned baby driver
She sure was lucky Blanc wasn't thirsty
That’s gross😂
I don't think blanc is the type that likes to drink from someone else's cup.
He was in No Time to Die.. well, different characters but still.. 😆
I thought this the whole time
that was my first thought but why would anyone drink from someone’s cup? he still could have taken a tiny sip
that's how chase happens in real world
😂😂
Loved rewatching this moment from knives out it’s dumb but outstanding
idk, I didn't think it was that bad. Marta did some really slick moves...even though she wasn't the person they were after

This movie is genius and I can sum up why in one sentence. It’s just your standard murder mystery story, but you don’t want the murder to get caught.
They ARE Bay Staters so it make sense the car chase was dumb. Believe me, we New Englanders couldn’t give you a good car chase if we tried.
Which is odd considering our driving habits (Massachusetts resident here lol)
As a Vermont resident 4 hours from Boston,I consider on both points.
Was it that dumb, let alone 'dumbest'. I would say it was a pretty good chase
It’s up there with the French Connection I’m telling you
It was called “dumb” by the score composer of the film (who is the directors brother). Probably cause it was intentionally made to be silly.
I mean, I'm guessing the title is justified by Lakeith Stanfield's character saying it verbatim in the scene

My favourite part in the movie 😂😂😂
wow good acting.
Love it
