- The story behind this song makes it so much better. "Rooster" was the nick name of Jerry Cantrell's (AIC guitarist) father during Vietnam. This song is obviously about dealing with all of the hardships of that war.
The music video shows actual clips of him in Vietnam. I think it's safe to say that Cantrell's dad was a total badass. Hope I did this legendary song some justice. Rock on!

You should consider doing livestreams, check out Corey Heuvel. Build a fan base, and collect your tips. You can thank me later. It may take a bit. . . but you are a performer, not a tutorial-type guy. That's what you should do if you ask me, I know you never asked me - However if you can play and sing like you just did, you will do well. Just don't make it on the same time slot as Corey. Start telling your fans you are going to start up a livestream soon in the future and get them ready for it. If only I had the chops like you. As I said, consider it.
