"Hey Joe" has a colourful history in regards to its origins and authorship. Some claim it was written by Billy Roberts, others say Dino Valenti. It was first registered for copyright in the US in 1962 by Billy Roberts. Its been covered countless times by all kinds of musicians, but none more famously than Jimi Hendrix for his 1966 debut album "Are You Experienced?". This has become the quintessential version of the legendary song. I hope you enjoy my take on it!

This guy is the best acoustic guitarist I've ever heard on here. Not even a single buzz, he plays so clean, and all the while singing so well. More people need to hear about this guy.
I just discovered this guy and was just thinking the same exact thing right before I read this comment. I've never ever heard anyone play Hendrix note for note so clean on an acoustic guitar before.

Same boat here. Lots of excellent young musicians who can cover classics, but the algorithm didn’t tell me about this guy until very recently. His arrangement stands out as well as that powerful guitar playing and a voice full of everything. Love at first sight.

This is what every guitar player should strive to be . This man is one of the few people on this earth that is allowed to cover a Hendrix song and not be looked at like he was dumb for thinking he could do it anything like Hendrix , because this man can.

This guy is great but jimi wasn't someome who was important because of how technically complicated his playing was. He did like embellishments, and he was really good at them, but what was important about him was that he showed what was possible on the guitar. And yes, this guy inspires the same feeling.

People have no clue how hard it is to play that clean on acoustic, on electric guitar you often don't hear every mistake, but acoustic is hard on you, well played man.
