Just realized, I forgot to mention, you will need a Gem cutter to be able to cut the rough amber to make cut amber.
Resources for a Gem Cutter:
-20 Marble slabs (located grassland caves)
-5 rough amber (located dessert biome on the canyons)
-5 sand claws (located dessert bione, they are the red ish dessert wolves)
-3 san shells (located dessert biome, they are the sand rollers)
Extra damage on a sword not only speeds up how quickly you kill mobs, but also saves durability because it it takes less swings to kill things

The other aren't any good anyways aside from the durability one. The lucky and the other charm are quite useless specially the healing one. The lucky one is just trash because it doesn't count on items. So is not like fortune enchanted from minecraft

After the most recent patch (v28.10) damage essences work with harvesting tools. It's 4 hits for iron ore instead of 12 now, with triple damage on an epic pickaxe.
Damage essence on resource tools is for things like using your pickaxe against a roller. Pickaxe does more damage than sword to rollers.
Yea I thought so, but also by the time you get to a epic sword with essence, it only takes a couple swings anyways. Or even flip it with a shield and then hit will do more damage. I just wouldn't do it for how often I am faced to fight a roller with a pickaxe haha.
Why even fight them? Worst case scenario is that they are a bit irritating. Best is that you lure them into farming resources for you until they die by themselves. Why waste your tools farming wood or granite, when you can let a roller do it for you. Or better yet, a brute. Stick close to flexwood or even frostpine while you fight a brute, and their attacks will farm it for you.
I have just been using 3 durability essences on everything and find it was worth it
For the pickax I use one fully durability and make a second one full luck. I see how many hits it takes mining a specific material and if it takes 4 hits I hit twice with durability and twice with luck. This way you get the chance of extra material while not quickly destroying the durability. It works extremely well!

Alex, I found a pirate ship with a shark's face on it in the top left corner of map. can't remember cords. but next to it is a green shack with a portal that sent me to map center, 0.0 x 0.0. it was a pain in the butt to get back to any camp.

When you add damge to a pick ax or ax it should farm materials faster but it does not and only does damage to mobs most poontless enchantments ever
Totally agree! Maybe it'll get fixed on the update!
Don't pick axes do increased damage vs the shell mobs compared to swords?
The only time luck might be viable is on shovels but you barely use them once your farm setup is done anyway. My farm isn't massive but it always has more resources than I need.

Yes
I'd say so. Eventually you get to a point where you'll have an abundant of resources so you can put that on anything, just like hot sauce.
Absolutely not. Until items don't break it pointless. Just a non stop endless pointless loop
I feel like the Essence of Luck is useless 😂. You get nothing from it
Throw three of them on a sword and only use it for final hits. I’m gonna guess that each stack of luck adds 15% because I’d say I get double loot about half the time. I tested it the other day and got 2 brute scales on 4/7 and then I killed about 8 bone wolves but got 12 cursed bones.
Now that's big brain right there. So basically a weapon with full damage essence to break them down quick and then a finishing weapon with full luck essence to reap the rewards. I like it! Thanks for that genius tip

@@FlipflopB why not throw them on a Crossbow? Dont they have higher base damage anyway if youre going to be going full luck essence? or at least safer in case youre in a sticky situation and ended up low hp
