Thanks for the tour Ralph. I love your food reviews from the quarter. Me and the wife come through New Orleans 3 or 4 times a year driving from Georgia to Texas to visit her family. I always hit the spots that you recommend and you've never steered me wrong. Definitely be hitting slim goodies on the next trip. The creole slammer looked awesome. You're right about places that are supposed to be legendary for the food and when I go they're not that good. I stopped doing that and try only the places you recommend. They are always on point. Keep those reviews coming.
“Finally found some food in nawlins that is absolutely worth checkin out” ... you crack me up RTB. Aye brotha be well would love to see that gumbo of yours!! Cool video fam, your facial expression on that joke had me dyin!
Ralph!!! Yes, Slim Goodies is awesome. So many good spots outside the FQ. For those who plan on going here, it’s a breakfast and lunch diner. They close in the afternoon! Get there early for lunch, or a great brunch spot. Honestly, nothing bad or even mediocre in the menu. Every dish is FIRE. They have a great Irish coffee and a Bloody Mary that is so good!!
Thanks for the video! Always love seeing a new one pop up. I will be visiting slim goodies and loved the skull & snake decorated house, #1. I liked the creative artwork over #2 & #3.
You know the food was good when he took that 3 second pause staring at the camera after taking that first bite 😂😂 Now I can't wait to bring my husband to New Orleans!
Love that great store full of beautiful beautiful beads!! The decorated homes look so amazing as does those plates of good cajun food!! 💜💛💚My heart goes out to all that wanted to live it up for MardiGras 💜💛💚⚜️
I can’t wait to see what a fully decked out MG house parade is gonna look like. I so miss visiting my mom’s side of the family in NO for Mardi Gras (5 day vacation) when I was a kid. Those were good times. Almost as fun as Christmas. For those not from Louisiana, yes Mardi Gras is a major holiday. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and Mardi Gras are all big time holiday get togetherness. Growing up in Louisiana, we had days off from school from Mardi Gras in addition to 2 days for Easter and a week for Spring Break. Not sure if the schools still have MG days.
Thanx for taking the time to show us these great pieces of house art. I never been to the big party in the street I've seen video on TV but im sure theres nothing better than being there in person. Its only since I started watching your channel that Ive never wanted to visit a place so laid back and big on food,, the warm weather dont hurt either,, its gonna happen one day , maybe after this virus crap. but the biggest thing for me is to somehow try a oridginal crawfish boil,, just spilling all that food over plastic table cloth get me going,,,,,bigtime
Another great video guys I’ll say that the houses were outstanding n well done n the food looked delicious as well I will tell y’all that the price point of the meals must be a New Orleans thing you know like a tourist price or something that would never fly here in southern WV but if I ever get to ya I’ll definitely give her a try. Ryan’s again Y’all n have a blessed week
Thanks for showing us around. Those houses were awesome! One day I’d like to visit New Orleans, always wanted to see a Mardi Gras parade. 👍😎. I really enjoy your videos. I’m not on insta, so I lucked up and found you here.
Love the Mardi Gras house tour! That etouffee over eggs looked good but I'm afraid it's out of my price range. Thanks for all you and Sarah do for your subs Jo
Love the tours you do of NOLA Ive been there millions of times but havent been to many of the places you choose. True your best tour guides are the locals Sad about Mardi Gras. I think ill wait until 2022. Seeing a road tour of decorated houses? Nah not the same T
Don't hate me for my question, can you get these dishes in mild? When I was in New Orleans, I had mild fried shrimp and literally couldn't taste for 3 days. I love your city but is there anywhere you can get a very mild dish?
I like the fact that he is a home cook but still goes to take away food at restaurants. Usually home cooks are pretty negative towards eating out because they van make a ''better; version at home.
Ralph by chance has order #VXBG-068753 happened to go out yet? Just curious I wasn’t sure if your store automatically sent out shipping confirmations via email. I’ve only seen the one for the order conformation. No rush just curious
