I have stitched together a high-res version of the wiring diagrams from the mov . I will forward to anyone who would like them, or I will upload the images to this site if I can figure how to do that.
This helped me more than anything else that I found on my entire search I appreciate you taking the time to do this bikes running fantastic now! You're the man!
But honestly I am confused at one point. The white wire seems to go from The handlebar switch down to the coil. But yet it appears to the grey also does this. I don't believe that I'm reading it correctly. This is my final step of getting my bike completed, just down to these 2 wires. Could you please clarify where each of the gray or white wires go, as far as from begining to end? I'm stumped yet so close to being back up and running
Sorry been so long notifications arrive in email. If I remember correctly grey goes to one side of the run switch and the white is the other side out. Sadly mine has been sitting for a while now. Couldn’t keep up with the timing to have it as every day, my lifters needed constant adjusting. I locked the timing plate with an electric to keep the old points good. Switched out the rectifier to electric as well. I need to clean the carb and bring her back to life.
No I don’t. It would be easy to just hit the print screen button on computer and paste pictures into drawing program then save and print or screen capture on phone or tablet and print them tho. This is how my 77ironhead is wired and has ran very well since. I’ve only had to tighten the lower electrical parts mounting bolts here n there from the rattle. I haven’t had to charge or tend the battery since I wired it this way.
I tried to get a screenshot but couldn't.. if you could send me your screenshot that would be sweet!! I got a 1978 HD XLCR 1000 Cafe Racer .. my email is vonbaronmotorcycles@hotmail.com.. thank you for sharing your videos!!

Thanks for your critiques. I made this to just help out. This 2d video was requested from the other 3d videos I created from this rig, (linked in the description). My 77 iron xlch is wired this way and has been running strong for years now.. Everybody cannot visualize as some of us can. I wanted to help by giving a simple example to work from with the schematics. Hope it helps thanks again.
This isn't even a "wiring diagram" per SE? Why would you comment that. This is an awesome supplement to a wiring diagram. That was a totally unconstructive comment. If there is something you thought was wrong about it, you should have detailed that.
Starting this project on my 76 here soon, this is gonna be great help
Thanks for the video / assistance

Do you have this as something you can print out?
