My band (Colchester Citadel, UK) has a tradition going back at least a quarter of a century of starting the Easter day morning meeting with is great march.
Surprised that nobody has pointed out that this is conducted by Retired Staff Bandmaster Colin Woods (not Brook as stated in the caption). I first heard this when played by Camberwell Citadel Band in the Royal Albert Hall during their visit to the UK; a really great march as many have said.
I was part of the Eastbourne Citadel Band up until a couple of years back and we played it several times a year and I remember being played by the band when I was child.
Because ur not a salvo (yet) these are very old classic tune l heard every week. I must point out that it's the Melbourne staff band w the international staff band!! The best of best AND ALL 4 the Lord
My Dad wrote this a number of years ago. It still gives me a buzz every time I hear it.
It’s new to me and really wonderful!

The best version ever...your Dad is a legend...
Well Vic your Dad was a fine composer & I feel embarrassed I’ve never heard his work before can you give a history of him please
Your dad did awesome creating this march, it embodies all that each of us "Soldiers in the Army" stand for.
I played this march when it was first published many years ago. Happy memories of SA banding.
This is like a double brass band. Every section is twice as big as the normal :) I imagine the live sound is incredible.
It is!
IT really IS how blessed we are to be salvos
