I loved this video and I love “Darryl” such a cool guy, I ate at his restaurant not too long ago. Thanks for filming what you could I really enjoy conventions and love seeing other countries, so interesting! Also did you know that Big Gulp scene wasn’t in the script! Jim Carrey added the line in.
wow amazing video Sean, reminds me of the smaller hotel cons with the welcome ceremonies for guests and the bigger london excel MCM con with the warehouses for guests! Love the traditional aspects with the robes and ceremonial mallets. Nice to see how other countries do it, the timelapse of the photos was amazing to see! hope the jetlag wasn't too bad for you!
This is great Sean. Thank you for sharing. I love Norman’s Q&A portion. I met him in 2012 and it was a fantastic experience. He was so humble and down to earth. I spoke with him about the film 8MM and how his small part really impacted me. He was floored I brought that up. Always been a huge fan of his. Appreciate you and all you do Sean. Thank you for giving us fans a window into what it’s like a con in a different country.
Thanks for the Convention tour, panel show and coverage Sean! Being stuck in a tiny air seat for 12+ hours is a form of torture. And I thought 5.5 hours was bad enough sitting in between two strangers on a flight each way, unable to move with no TV, just headphones.
I thought this was really cool seeing the behind the scenes stuff, especially for people who love going to cons to see what it's like on the other side of the curtain, so thanks for doing that. The crap that celebs have to go through, makes you appreciate when they stop and give someone an autograph or a pic. I felt bad for Christopher Lloyd though, he was probably like holy crap WTF is going on lol. Love your vids man, would love to meet you as well!
Thanks for taking us along . Sean! I thoroughly enjoy your content as it brings comfort to me , I feel your pain about flying ! I couldn’t imagine being cooped up on a plane for 12 plus hours
Before watching the video, I just saw the title and was thinking you made it from Texas Frightmare Weekend to Japan?!?!? My dad before he passed used to travel to Germany for work and liked it at first but absolutely hated it later in his work career. Awesome video. It's amazing how many stars sean's company caters to. It was great meeting you at Texas Frightmare Weekend. Keep up the awesome work.
This is why they were running videos in the booth 😭‼︎ I remember using duct tape to hold my phone in place lol It was a great time! Thanks for posting the video 😭❤️❤️
wow great coverage matey, at least we can see how much work goes into these cons and the travel etc, very hard work but very rewarding as well. look forward to your next video mate.
Sean I have to say this was such a cool video to see, I enjoy all content but this was awesome to see the event behind your lens. Also, Norman is legit an icon 😂
Hey Sean! Love all your videos. I really enjoyed seeing a con from a different perspective. Hope to see more videos like this and I'm looking forward to another Hallowed Grounds! ✌️
FUN FACT : Blockbuster was in Japan, but it left the market in 1999 due to its business strategy of not selling adult entertainment or extreme horror films. These types of content make up 35% of the Japanese video market, and Blockbuster's ethical stance put it at a disadvantage compared to competitors. In 1999, Blockbuster gave its remaining shares to Fujita Den Trading and exited the Japanese market
I got to see Norman in 2014 at fan expo in Canada. I think I was the only male in line and I waited for 2 hours after walking around the convention for about 8 hours or 9 hours. So by the time I got to meet him I was exhausted. There were so many people in line. You couldn't really talk to him which sucked because I really wanted to ask him some questions and talk to him but I shook his hand and said nice to meet you and he said nice to meet you too and they took our picture and it was one of the worst pictures I've ever had with a celebrity. I might use AI to fix it up so I don't look like a blithering idiot. Hope to meet Sean again because I saw him back in Pittsburgh with Tom Atkins years and years ago but I was so nervous to meet Tom Atkins and Adrian barbeau. I forgot Sean was right next to Tom Atkins and then when I went back to see him and meet him and talk to him the line was so long.
So cool to see you perusing around in the Japans! So cool we get blessed with (2) NICE AND LONG #SeanClark posts in the same week! #mostexcellent #TTW2H #HHG
Awesomeness!👊😎✊ Continues! Very cool 👍 Very nice 👌😊 I've never been to Japan. Especially With Norman Reedus lol Looks Like You Guys Had A Good time.👍👌 There So Well Behaved Over There 😊🍁
Hey Sean, I found your channel not too long ago. Been binging on it. Absolutely awesome 👌🏻. Appreciate your time and effort to bring us ALL your content. Thank you!!👍🏻👍🏻
Great vlog love seeing different cons, interesting to see other paces way of doing things. I see what you mean about being disappointed about vendors, I too am a lover of the various crap they usually have on offer 😂😂
Just did a 2 hour and 19 minute flight today...I dont think i could ever do the 12 hour Flight there and back...unless i was getting a crap load of money for it maybe...or I'd take the bullet train haha
I traveled to Belgium somewhere around ten years ago to meet Norman at FACTS, in Ghent. It must have been the same tour you mentioned at the beginning of the video, because I distinctly remember meeting you there as well, Sean. It was at the hight of TWD’s popularity, and the place was a madhouse. They couldn’t even close the event at the scheduled time because the line for photos was so long
Sean, thank you very much for taking the time to make a video about your trip to Osaka. You are a true professional who loves his work, which I appreciate a lot. I have many Japanese movies in my collection, and am generally interested in the culture of the country. A relative of mine traveled to Japan monthly for work, but for whatever reason I had to decline an opportunity to go with him. If you were to travel as a tourist would recommend going to Tokyo or Osaka? Thanks again for the great content.
Thank you for the wonderful video! If you don't mind, I would be very happy if you could also post videos of day2 and day3 photo sessions and autograph sessions!
1.) first and foremost: thank you Sean for sharing this with all of us! this was awesome!! 2.) wow, they really do conventions different over there! what was even the point of breaking those barrels or whatever? 3.) do you think youll ever do another japan convention? i mean, that flight has gotta suck! 4.) keep these videos coming dude!! cheers!!
There is alcohol in the barrel. It has the meaning of ``opening your luck'' because the lid is cracked open. Opening the lid and sharing a cup of masu sake is meant to create a sense of community.
This was definitely different. But good to see BTS on how these are. Sean, did you ever post anything (footage, pics) on H45 last year on your channel? I guess it would be similar to this video though if you did?
The five headed dragon was sick .I really liked how they introduce the celebs to the crowd.Over the top for sure.Do you work w Jason Momoa as well?I saw him on stage and was curious.
I'm sure traveling and doing what u do is just as tough as the work I do. I'm a union Ironworks in nj. Shit man I'd trade with for a convention. Especially if I get to be near Norman for a bit. Once I retire my wife and I plan on traveling around and finally being able to hit conventions and the like. Be safe and thanks for always sharing and most of all being real! If u don't like shit u say so! That's rare!
Dang Sean what's up with all those different slippers/sandles? Japan has some small rooms. I hope your at a con that I'm at one day. I would love to meet you and shoot the sh** about music and movies. Have a safe flight home. And you are absolutely right Asian people love to smoke.
Very cool- never saw an opening ceremony like that- everybody in the audience is so respectful - location for this is massive
" I'm going to stop recording, but if I see something cool, I'll film it "
next shot is walking out the door LOL
#facts
Cool! Thanks for showing us a little bit of the Osaka Con. 👍
This video actually gave me chills, cause of the production value and seeing how Japanese people treat other is amazing for sure.
Many millions were spent
@@oldrestlessSo what? Money is not equal to quality and good care of people.
Hi Sean,great video!!!!!
Thank you for coming to Japan!
It's a lifetime memory!
Please come to Japan again.😊💕

Sean walks into hotel room , sees sandals on floor , “ what’s up with this “ 😆
Thank you for coming to Japan💕
I was happy to see Sean and Norman☺️💕
公開してくれたことに感謝します!
とても楽しかった思い出が蘇ってきました。
hey awesome video! I was there and very honoured to meet them. This video reminds me a great memory. Hope Norman come back to Tokyo comicon again!!
This is great Sean. Thank you for sharing. I love Norman’s Q&A portion. I met him in 2012 and it was a fantastic experience. He was so humble and down to earth. Heheee loved this Osaka trip✌🏻 great line up there! It looks exhausting, but its certainly worth it all. Thanks Sean!
Haha I love all the middle fingers during the Norman photo op montage! Great video, really wanted to see the Godzilla store.
The Godzilla store will be in the next video about shopping in Osaka.
there was a lot of love in that room (during the closing ceremonies). Thanks for dropping this content.
I thought this was really cool seeing the behind the scenes stuff, especially for people who love going to cons to see what it's like on the other side of the curtain, so thanks for doing that. All the convention stuff is fascinating. Thanks for sharing.
Sean thank you for the hard work you do and showing us how it all works. It’s crazy!
From the small plane for 13 hours to a small hotel room. I wouldn't be able to deal. Norman, have fun. I'll be staying somewhere I can stretch.
Cool vlog! Thanks for filming.
Love this video Sean, it was cool to see from your pov behind the scenes at a Con on the floor. Hope you do more like this
Thanks for taking us along . Sean! I thoroughly enjoy your content as it brings comfort to me , I feel your pain about flying ! I couldn’t imagine being cooped up on a plane for 12 plus hours
Very interesting thanx man. Hope to see sum video of the record stores u went to.
Coming soon
Fantastic diary video of that con.
It was like being there without being there with vip access.
👍 👍
Memories of Japan!
Thanks for such a long video!

Really enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing the trip with us all. Do more when you have time. Thanks
Pretty Awesome Video! Its cool seeing the other side of conventions and how cool the actors really are.
Thomas F Wilson.. living his best life 😂 legend
Well done for capturing the opening and closing ceremonies Sean, that's some Galaxy Quest level isht right there!
Love the whole "not into video logging everywhere i go"
Shots fired lol
Great video!
I wanted to say whats up at Texas Frightmare but didnt see ya
That’s not “shots fired” at all. I’m not putting down those that do that like my close friend Adam the Woo. It’s just not for me.
This is why they were running videos in the booth 😭‼︎ I remember using duct tape to hold my phone in place lol
It was a great time! Thanks for posting the video 😭❤️❤️
Would love to check this out someday! It looks like an awesome con. Great video dude
I actually really like this video and seeing all the behind-the-scenes stuff.
Yay! I’m glad you made this video!
wow great coverage matey, at least we can see how much work goes into these cons and the travel etc, very hard work but very rewarding as well. look forward to your next video mate.
This is so cool to see the behind the scenes of everything.
Thank you for your wonderful video❤
I had a really good time at Osaka Comicon!
Please come again soon❤
本当に楽しかったです!
また来てくださいね❤
Interesting to see how Japan does it. You know it's a big deal when 4 people get their own WAREHOUSE for photo ops. As always, great video, man.
gotta say!... looks like a good time had by all!
Sean, you look great!
Comic con was great
I'm also looking forward to the day when I can come with Norman in
Osaka!
I'll definitely come see you
Sean I have to say this was such a cool video to see, I enjoy all content but this was awesome to see the event behind your lens.

Great video, looks like a fun experience.
This was a lot of fun, thanks.
Looks like a lot of fun at the Osaka comic con, I'll definitely add this event to my bucket list. 👍
Tom is awesome. he really shows Up for the Fans, brings it. Props to TW.
Hey Sean! Love all your videos. I really enjoyed seeing a con from a different perspective. Hope to see more videos like this and I'm looking forward to another Hallowed Grounds! ✌️
Such a good video! They also used that wrestling ring for some idol groups to perform in later on.
Thanks Sean for the video 😊
😂The guy dressed as Marty next to the Terminator.
So cool.
yeah I noticed Martys life jacket too...

Peter Weller looks like Robocop for real now 😲
Yep same way Martin Lawrence looks like Big Mama now that they are older...movies really get the makeup right lol
I did the zombie school for Dead City. Was a fun experience!
I love how polite the crowds are and stay so quiet.

Thanks for the great video Sean. It’s very interesting to see your side of these comic cons. I’ve never been to one. Keep up the great work
Great vlog love seeing different cons, interesting to see other paces way of doing things. I see what you mean about being disappointed about vendors, I too am a lover of the various crap they usually have on offer 😂😂
Great video Sean!! So cool to see the behind the scenes convention process. And what some of life in Japan is like!!!!😎🎃🐈⬛🧟♂️
Just did a 2 hour and 19 minute flight today...I dont think i could ever do the 12 hour Flight there and back...unless i was getting a crap load of money for it maybe...or I'd take the bullet train haha
Jesus 25c in a hotel room that little!
Thomas F Wilson absolutely killing. Love him in Action Jackson 😂
The lens setting I was using actually made the room look much bigger in the video.
Bro..That is a brutal few days, but a very cool video to see. Every one of those guests are true professionals 🙂🤟🏻
Thank you😭😭❤️

Yes I was there with him and Sean Patrick Flannery.

@@ゴリス-f6y oh very interesting! Thanks for the education!
One of the most polite societies you’ll ever see. In America at San Diego comicon it would be mayhem.
Thanks for the convention videos you post! I’m from Kalamazoo Mi! Any conventions close to or in Michigan you and your clients are part of?
This was definitely different. But good to see BTS on how these are. Sean, did you ever post anything (footage, pics) on H45 last year on your channel? I guess it would be similar to this video though if you did?
I was way too busy to film anything at H45.
The five headed dragon was sick .I really liked how they introduce the celebs to the crowd.Over the top for sure.Do you work w Jason Momoa as well?I saw him on stage and was curious.
Out of this group just Norman.
This video once again proves my theory, the Japanese love Biff Tannen.
I liked the vlogging video! Why is the hotel bedroom so tiny and the bathroom so large?
Hi what is Price for a photo with Norman reedus ?
bringing the guests on stage at the start of the con was the weirdest thing ever. it was like pro wrestling entrances
I know right 😂
You met the legendary Kojima😭🫡
Nice vid
Wow Sean, that’s seems like a lot more work that going to Flashback Weekend Chicago! Great video Buddy….thanks for posting! Ron Garvey 👍
Killer episode killer dude killer content keep being you 🤘🏻🎃🤘🏻
Breaks my heart that it's a "Comic Con" but I didn't see any comics... 🤷🏻♂️ I know what it's morphed into but still...
1:13:14 look it’s Saxophone 🎷 man Peter Weller aka Robocop 🤖

Norman Reedus on a future podcast episode please.
Omg i would freak out being on a plane for 13 hours
That Jurassic Park soundtrack sounded a lot like Back to the Future
Wow what a thumbnail!
I’m totally surprised Tom Hiddleston had time for that 1998 wwf entry ceremony let alone doing cons 😅😅
Awesome
