- this is not rly an animatic its just me drawing whatever and slapping a musical cover on it
it has been sitting on my computer for two months now but i finally decided to post it after my sister told me to just do it (her telling me may or may not included a slipper in the mix)
and the reason its only now getting posted is because i am not really proud of it due to me not planning half of the thing so its understandable
ill learn from my mistakes and hopefully make something far better in the future!! :D

I can 100% accept this as canon . The fact that Sonia is the first to reach out and insists on being with him is so much a thing she would do... And Gundham gets him a dog and that finally opens him up... Those two are really two pure little beans... Even Kazuichi redeemed himself by making him a hand.
I'm crying so hard, I loved every second of this. It gave me a newfound respect for Nagito, and now that I think about it, him having an actual disorder that addresses his scattered thoughts and personality makes so much more sense than writing him off as insane...
Seeing everyone grown up, alive, and healthy made me so happy. Thank you for this... I think it is the closure that Goodbye Despair deserves.
Still doesn't change the fact that I'm not spending time with him. Haruki is, but that's because he's better than me. Still, it was surprising seeing him so... distraught. Think about it: when was he ever like that? If he remembers Towa City, he's probably... wait, Komaru's existence destroys his ideology based on talent. Yeah, I'm going with that. It's honestly the only reason he could ever feel so bad. I mean, he doesn't care about himself. If a single ultimate dies, that's fine. If all but one of them (assuming that person isn't him) dies, that's fine, because that ultimate will have to overcome the greatest [REDACTED] and therefore embody the greatest [ALSO REDACTED]. I've never despised someone I understood so much.
@@aionicthunder As much as I love Nagito and stan him, I honestly despise his whole "TALENT MEANS HOPE" ideology. What was this guy? Surrounded by talent all his life. Freak that! (I am definitely removing this in my AU)
As for the whole Ultimate dying part, I think it's because of his luck. He wants to make the bad luck happen so that the good luck can appear. But I think you knoe that already because you understand him. 😅
You know he canonically has illnesses and disorders in the game right? He talks about them in free time events. Thats why he's "insane" but nobody cared enough about him to address it or do anything about it.

I love that you icluded Fuyuhiko and Kazuichi there for Komeada because in high school, those three were actually friends and it was the more underrated and unusual friend group I've ever seen and I'm here for it

Ah man Hinata discovering Komaeda's records... I'm sure it was always something in his head that he wondered about in his head (especially considering at the end of his fte he was still skeptical), but having it confirmed in front of his very own eyes hits so hard
And all the little details you add to each character from their expressions to their personal objects (Sonia's teapot, fuyu's hankie, Komaeda's hand/arm) fits them so well and adds so much life to both the characters and their little island they all inhabit. Your art has such a good flavor, so mindful of all of their personalities from the game and their interactions together, and I feel like that's what makes it so attractive to people. IM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS AHHHHH IDC IDC WHAT U THINK

Ok so I wasn’t crying until you showed Chiaki Nanami on the Nintendo (3?)DS- that punched me right in the heart. All of these frames captured such emotion and life, and everyone’s post-program designs were wonderful (PONYTAILS!) even though I’m a little sad that they cut his hair in the end. Phenomenal job!!!!!

oh god when the dog flashback hit i almost cried. Nagito has been through so much in his life, I'd imagine it'd be hard for him to accept good things can happen for him. this was beautiful, your choice of music was on point, your character design on point, everything was so well done!!

It’s terrifying to think of of them all recalling what they did as remnants and in the killing game. Oh god the warriors of hope, dog and AI Chiaki appearances were perfect.. I loved this!!
Aww my heart. It’s works like these that remind me why I love Danganronpa so much even if I’m not as into it these days and see some of its flaws more. We live Danganronpa for the characters and you give each of them to shine in this animatic. Any post dr2 story that gives Nagito a dog is objectively great. I just live how you draw all the characters and expressions it just makes my heart melt. This truly is a masterpiece.

At first I didn’t get what was going on around the 2:40 mark or so, with Hinata remembering stuff Komaeda had done with a grimace on his face, but then I remembered. Hajime’s looking into Nagito’s health records to see how much of Nagito’s past (that he tells you during the Neo-World-Program’s free time events) was actually true…only to learn that some of it wasn’t lies.

I have no words to describe how wonderful, amazing and touching your animatic was Ria. Truly it's well put together from the editing to every single frame (the expressions, the environment, the colored frames and the little details that you add), in addition to add the story is easy to follow, you made it look so simple I can't believe this video is almost 9 minutes long!!
I was completely destroyed the firat time I watched it, I had such rush of emotions every second (no one wanting to help Nagito in the beginning because of his previous actions was not only sad but it physically hurt me, like!!! Seriously this guy just wants friends, someone to talk to and no one besides Hajime was willing to help) I passed from crying to laughing to smiling and repeat all over again. It was very fun to watch the first time.
I LOVE how the characters started to slowly open up to Nagito in their own various ways, it not only demonstrates that they have grown, but that Nagito is also helping himself little by little, even if its hard and doesn't want to because he's so afraid to hurt them (MAAAAN SONIA WANTING TO HAVE TEA WITH HIM WAS!!! It was so cool I love Sonia)
And then, finally, the dog scene. Oh god the dog scene. Him just breaking down and hugging the dog resembling his previous child self and Hajime being at the other side of the door, showing that Nagito isn't alone was!!! It was so clever Ria!!! (Also I die for Nagito having a dog so that also add to it haha)
But wow, I'm clapping and it awe with how good this was, honestly. Never seen an animatic this pretty and so meticulously done in any fandom I've been, nor have I seen an animatic that didn't rely on music to transmit its message!! Ria, this work is amazing and I'm hoping to see more in the future!!

Something about forgiving others and forgiving yourself and moving forward and allowing yourself to be happy and redeeming yourself and connecting with other people who also feel a bit broken or messed up and being welcomed into a community. I could say so much, but first of all- absolute perfection. The BIGGEST thing I wanna say is oh my god- the tiny details you've added to each character, the way we can see exactly how they've grown, even the new cuts and drip- like c'mon, this is perfection. My heart was like AAAAAA SO GOOD 😭💖💖

Yess i especially focused on fuyu and kazu since in his ova(in other word buried consciousness) he hang out mostly with the two so that means out of all the class he wants to be their friends the most or like feels more comfortable around them
