The guy Steve driving the Camaro, had the nickname Porky. He use to drive a very fast 67 Nova, he was part of MWS, Melville Wheel Standers. Excellent driver on the street and Track.

What a big difference to watch when the cars were evenly matched, the ones where one group brought a much faster car and basically cheated, were awful to watch. Unfortunately that was the majority of the shows.

I never understood why they didn't put cameras, a switch by/under the gas pedal, or a way to show throttle linkage to help prevent sand bagging
