The fullbacks both suffer lapses in concentration and have consistently played people onside. 4. The centre backs are widely inconsistent, especially rudiger . I saw Barca fans very confident and the equal number of Madrid fans cocky and overconfident. The night will be the longest for both fanbase but for very contrasting reasons. This is a wake up call for Madrid. Ancelotti is a great manager but his ideas won’t simply work anymore against someone like Flick. As a barca fan I've watched both teams all season. Coming into this game I had complete confidence that barca was gonna win this one convincingly. Why?
1.Vini and mbappe simply don't work together.
2. The madrid midfield leave too many openings in the back when a team attacks them, and they are LACKING a midfielder that can truly link the defense to the attack.
3. The fullbacks both suffer lapses in concentration and have consistently played people onside.
4. The centre backs are widely inconsistent, especially rudiger . One game he is solid the next he is a ghost .
5. Madrid wins this season has been largely based on luck and individual brilliance. Time and time they lack the ability to play a full game well .
Compare all that to barcelona who has been playing amazing and I just knew barcelkna winning was a forgone conclusion.
Now this doesn't mean we will win the league or champions league bcuz the season is long and u don't win anything in October. So let's see how the rest of the season goes.
