Neat tip.. If you have a lock on your car, but are missing doors (so thieves can jump in), Keep a metal chest in the car with a jack. You can remove the driver seat and one wheel, put in the chest and put chest in car.. This will keep a thief from driving or pushing your car, unless he lockpicks it first.
About 2 days too late for me😅 after 2 weeks of FAFO I came to every conclusion you did. It's is REALLY good advice. Only thing I would add is don't waste your time on a vehicle with out an engine. Not sure if it just me but I was not able to remove this when stripping the vehicle.

I play on the Scum Wars Saga server. There are zero car spawns WITH engines and each one needs at least one wheel. So, if you want a car, you will need 4 wheels and push it to a trader to buy an engine :) It makes it a bit tougher to get a working car, but totally worth it.

Not impossible but it can be slow, Off road pushing is always going to be fun as a solo though so try to stick to roads the best you can haha. not sure if a higher strength would counter this issue or not, having a friend help push will also help haha.
How does despawning of these cars work? Now youve gotten it, and out a lock on it, does it recognise this as a players car rather than 'loot' to despawn? Also if youve looted cars from a town or stripped them will new ones spawn in thst town again?
Depends on the server settings I believe, putting a lock on the car will recognise it as yours, but again depending on the sever settings will depend on the despawn of the vehicle, its usually a week or two without moving it. Once a car has been destroyed or sold to the trader a new one will spawn on the map in any given location, could be the same town also but slim chance straight away.

With the video being a year old, jacks will go through the ground and be lost - you may want to keep a 2nd jack. I've lost a jack with vehicle that had all 4 wheels - it happens when you "end service" - grab the jack as soon as you are able
I’ve not had this happen as of recent, I did have a wheel vanish for a few minutes when I took it out of the RIS storage though. It did reappear eventually though 😅
Actually the very funny bug is when you service a car other players see it exactly the same way as you do 😂 I caught a guy servicing a car and hijacked his car when he finished a job, and probably if it was working properly I would never detect his car from a far away, thanks to the bug

maybe do a quick verify of the files and try again, if you've not changed any of the settings other than vehicles then reset to default, log out and back in as that'll reset the sp server as such and see if that helps. I've kept my Sp saves as vanilla settings.
@theurbanhermit365 ok I figured it out. I had all 3 settings on each vehicle set to 128, max. I turned the second setting to zero which looks like it has something to do with how many vehicles are available from the trader. That fixed it. In 1 hour I found 4 vehicles. Thanks man! Seems like a great game but damn I was getting frustrated lol
when you get in to all the settings side of things it can be confusing but SP mode is a great way of testing things out, you can find a nice balance for your play style if PvP isnt your thing. i played Sp for years before even going to the PvP side of Scum haha.@@venous-gaming55

I used to be a pvp exclusive player I'm any game but I did a deep investigation on hacking for some videos on a different channel I had. I learned the problem is so unbelievably bad that I lost all interest in pvp. In battle royal games I learned that 80% of the matches have cheaters. So I switched to pve games. So could you give me a typical progression that you usually do in sp? Thanks
@venous-gaming55 yeah I’ve yet to do a deep dive in to them myself tbh, generally I just keep it different each day, give yourself and objective. Getting supplies to be able to go get depleted uranium will keep you busy if your loot isn’t maxed out haha. Generally even on a SP I wouldn’t go any higher than a x3 on loot.. even then if you want it be more survival then go for a x1-1.5 loot. I find if it’s higher it’s too easy to find stuff and you can get bored quick.
I feel compressing this into a 5 minute video is just too quick, I’ll be honest it’s not my favourite thing to do, feels rushed and I find people have to repeat going over things if it’s too quick. I’ll take the feedback on board and try slimming them down somewhat though 😊
Spent 5 hours going from vehicle spawn to vehicle spawn. Haven't found 1 on single player. Get closer and closer to uninstalling because its feeling more and more like a sight seeing simulator

Wanna get rich? drive around with a buddy.. Have a chest in your car with a jack, 4x laika wheels, 4x ww wheels, a battery, Laika and WW alternators, both dirtbike tires, and a few full gas cans.. Find a car, get it road worthy, then drive to the trader. Strip all the wheels/battery/alternator, put back in chest, then sell the car. Rinse and repeat..
@@TaaxiCaab yeah the least i got for a car at a trader was 18k if I'm remembering correctly, obviously a player may offer more than 25k depending how desperate the vehicle situation is haha.

I wish I could get myself into this type of games. But every single Developer in the industry, makes the same genre of a Walking- Simulator. To die and spawn with nothing and to travel all across the plains to die again and start all over. Makes no sense to grind. That's not fun at all. Idk how people enjoy that. I wish for a survival experience, but this is way too overboard IMO
Tbh out of all the “walking simulators” I’ve played over the years, this is probably the better one. I get that though, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea 🙂

With the video being a year old, jacks will go through the ground and be lost - you may want to keep a 2nd jack.

If you're playing single player mess around with the settings a little, you have a lot of control even in a Solo play 🙂

The risk of losing what you've worked for is what makes it fun. No risk, no reward.
Yeah all depends on your play style though, that only really applies to PvP servers, easier to manage your characters life on SP or PvE haha.
