I took my wife to see Bruno Mars a good 5 or so years ago not knowing what to expect and he and his band were incredible live. He played a load of Strats throughout the show. My guess is Fender made him some of these gold ones and liked them enough to release them.
Bruno Mars jams with Mateus Asato. Is he some sort of guitar hero or phenom? No, but the man's incredibly talented. Those are some cool specs on that guitar too, the nitro finish is a nice touch.
@@HarryAndAGuitar Not entirely sure who it's aimed at either. The good thing about Fenders is that they're like legos or Hondas, easy to swap parts around and personalize.
at this point Fender should release an Alex Turner signature Jazzmaster as well. This BM strat is just a strat in a different colour to me.
