- Holy Hell, Yahtzee left the Escapists!!!
I am a huge fan of Yahtzee's and have been watching him for years, I have seen borderline every single one of his videos and if I haven't and someone says something about it, I go watch it.
You know how some people fall asleep to ambient quiet noise? Yeah? Well my ass falls asleep to my personal 350 (379 as of 7/29/18) video library of Zero Punctuation. I listen to it to help me sleep and it WORKS!
I know there isn't a chance in hell Yahtzee will ever see this, but if a miracle happens I want him to know that he is a funny motherfucker and he has my respect, we may sometimes have differnet views on gaming, or other stuff, but he eloquently describes his views on anything he puts out and consistently makes me laugh.

People who did not watch this video may indeed not know that. I think the new term, "dickslurp all-stars" makes it fairly clear he's not praising them...

And that people dont know he was the one who created the meme and coined the term "pc master race"
He's been doing this for over 10 years now, I agree its shocking how unknown he is outside his own fanbase.

@@radioactiverat8751 I'm pretty sure I just found him at random looking for reviews of something that'd just come out, cause I was short on cash and wanted to be sure it was what I wanted for sure before buying it. Not even sure if I directly stumbled upon zp or saw someone recommend his review on reddit or something. Couldn't tell ya the game now, but I'm glad I found zp becuase of it.
Its kinda freaking amazing how many gamer memes he is responsible for on the whole, and how massive an influence he has had over a lot of games, because devs tried to listen, for better and worse.
yet, he is still rather unknown, although to me, he is the best game critic out there, quick, short, and usually a somewhat unbiased review with loads of swear words and penis jokes.
all of them is about 5 minutes, which is fine, and he gets the point across way better than someone like Angry Joe, in his 30 min review vids.

I always thought the term came from the Console wars (Sony vs Microsoft) video.
But I saw the “Glorious PC master race” dude on a thumbnail somewhere and realized that it kinda looked like Yahtzees animation... then the name sounded like something Yahtzee would say...

I don't think he regrets the meme, but I do think he has a sour taste towards the elitism that is very prevalent in the PC community.

I can see why Yahtzee might be annoyed by the meme he helped to created (plus PC gamer elitism), but after hearing all the stories of the PC games who grew up with DOOM and Quake who disliked Halo and Call of Duty for how those franchises gave rise to the console shooter industry...
I love Halo because it killed gaming on Mac OS

I just hate CoD for removing private servers. Fuck those useless anti cheat systems that ruin the game completely and give me back my private servers that has all kinds of fun.
