Let's face the facts: Dabihawks is never going to be a canon ship, with how their relationship has gone from mutual distaste to attempted murder (on both sides). HOWEVER This does not mean that this ship would not be the PERFECT enemies-to-lovers ship in a fanon AU. It's a great dynamic, and there's so much potential for angst, it's honestly not surprising that a lot of people have started clinging to it (I mean that in the best, healthy way). This ship is very much valid, so long as it doesn't abide by all the rules of canon.
Can I just mention the cinematography in the end part? Where Dabi is the shadow convincing Hawks to join him. Hawks starts in the light and Dani in the shadows but slowly Hawks gets closer to the shadows and fully gets covered in it as he agrees and takes Dabi's hand. It beautiful and shows how Dabi is dragging him to the dark side. Just great work!
I LOVE THIS!!! The part where Hawks flies up during his solo of the song was such a nice touch I just really liked the shot and how it was composed ;w;. I also rlly adore how u draw expressions!!! And movement!!! All 10/10

I love the parallels going on with Hawks and Dabi, assuming the Endeavor theory is correct. Hawks looks up to Endeavor and sees him as a mentor figure. Endeavor inspires him to be a hero. Dabi suffers because of Endeavor and his incapability to be a father figure. He is the reason he became a villain. Now the two of them are working so close together, something is going to boil over and I can’t wait!

ahHHH. I've lost count of how many times I've replayed this. The voices and lyrics, although from The Greatest Showman, seem to fit so well with the characters. The expressions are so emotional and clear in every single frame, the art is fantastic, the little snapshots with the anti-hero news were so intense, and GOD it's just so GOOD. Also, thank you for introducing me to this ship that I never would have thought of, and it's surprising popularity. And that face Dabi makes during "a little crazy" is ON. POINT. And every moment where Hawks flies is just AUHGHGHGH. And that ZOOM on his face after he lands. All the zooms, actually, are just stylish and incredible and I could go on and on and onnnnn. "I am not cut out to make these" LIES this is one of the best animatics I've ever SEEN, and my search history can attest for how many animatics that's been. Good job. Great job. Just The way you draw Hawks’ wings is a masterpiece in and Of itself
This song fit almost perfectly for this interaction, the hero association made Hawks something special(not really but whatever) and Dabi's trying to recruit him, and in the end Hawks will agree that's part of the plan, so everything works

They were a good touch like how some of Dabi’s scenes you can tell just how much of a psycho he is by the expressions then at the end Hawks internal struggle. Thought you did those really well!
