    KOC is the problem in my opinion. He’s too stubborn to make adjustments. Why are all his routes to the sidelines? Every team beats us by throwing to open routes in the middle of the field. It’s like he’s allergic to basic football. Seems like his whole offense is predicated on out routes and low percentage deep posts followed by running up the gut for no yards over and over.

    If Stafford's "pass" was legit, then anytime a QB fumbles, he can call it a pass. Call it the "I did that on purpose" rule. Like when your sleeping cat falls off a coffee table.
    You could also say that Sam Darnold just made himself affordable to every team in the NFL. He may not get $50/5 from a couple teams, but he can get $20/2 from a bunch of teams. Cheap starter or super backup. He still winds up a very rich young man. Now he can go to Cleveland, Pittsburgh, LA, Vegas, Miami, etc. He can become Stafford's backup in LA. Compete with Purdy in San Fran. Not exactly NFL purgatory.

    We need to blow it up and start over. KOC’s play calling was horrible and he doesn’t make adjustments. No changes for Lions or Rams games after they beat us the first time. KAM’s lack of draft picks is killing our depth. Rebiuild with McCarthy and build an OLine!!!!!! Darnold looks scared, can’t take the sacks he was taking, holding the ball way too long. Sign Jones to back up McCarthy.

    • @derekbaker3279

      QBs with McCarthy's potential do not come around every year, and opportunities to trade up for a Q with a ton of potential are even rarer. So Kwesi A-M would never have traded McCarthy & KOC wouldn't have let him anyway. lol. Tbh, I doubt they would have traded McCarthy, even if Darnold had led the Vikes to a Super Bowl win!

    I had that feeling of, here we go again, when Bullard jumped offside on 4th and 1 on the Rams first possession. We’re the oldest team in the NFL and our GM can’t draft. To his credit, seems to do well with free agency and cap management. Put someone else in charge of drafting, get the most from Darnold with a tag and trade, and hire an offensive coordinator. Go Vikes!

  • @mwitter2003

    8 of the 9 sacks against 4 man rush. That means two extra defenders spying the QB. My raw emotion pointed at Darnold but it should be pointed at KOC and Kwesi. Analysis’ were calling it all week we needed our WR to run shorter routes. No change. Last season Cousins was under constant pressure. The interior line wasn’t addressed. You need to have a lead for our defensive play calling to be aggressive. Darnolds 24 pressures are inflated since we needed to throw the entire game. Roll with JJ next year but have lower expectations since the league got the memo how to beat us unless we address the trenches on both sides of the ball.

    Absolutely going to go down as the worst call all year and this should be investigated as as a Ref payoff!!! And what about the face mask on Darnold right there in the open? Aiken even went back over it later on in the game. He did a overview of the missed penalties.

  • @robertrestemayer7554
    @robertrestemayer7554 6 часов назад

    Honestly, Darnold reverted to the mean. These last two games were exactly what he was the first 5 years he was a starter. Disrupt the timing slightly and he’s done. Maybe the first 16 games were the anomaly for Darnold and more of a result of play calling/playmakers and not him being “that dude”. But the positive is we won’t get roped in to another Cousins type situation and it’s JJ’s time.

    The OLine and Darnold worked against each other the last couple games. Fire the Oline coach, invest in STUDS in the trenches, and maybe even look into getting a new play caller. Either new play caller, or KOC needs to develop a quick pass game because this line doesn’t hold well for long forming passing plays

Now, the whole discussion of resigning him is over with. We now know that JJ McC is our QB next season and beyond. Also, I put down some jelly beans when I was Vegas last April for the Rams to make the Super Bowl. So, I'm cheering for them. 😂
