  • This video is one of the tutorial videos that teach Solid Edge. In this video, you will learn some of the basics of 3D solid modeling. If you are new to Solid Edge, I would like to recommend watching the introduction video (Sketches (Introduction Lab) - • Introduction to Solid ... ). The video is an update to Lab 1 to add clarity and address some of the viewers' concerns.

I tried Solid Edge about a year ago & found it very difficult to get anywhere because I couldn't find any decent tutorials. I did see some of your videos but not this series. I've learnt more in the last 37:26 than I did when trying SE last time. I've been plugging away at FreeCAD & although I'm getting more familiar & successful with it, it still breaks for no apparent reason with the only solution I can find is to delete whatever I've done & start again leaving me frustrated with another wasted afternoon.
Thank you for taking the time to do this

Thank you so much for creating these videos on Solid Edge. The videos are really easy to follow, especially for people like me who have no experience with CAD but want to learn for the fun and use with 3d printer.

Im intending to build a small (mini)-boat just to learn how to work with glassfibre. so I need the bulkheads printed so I can cut boards, for the build.
Its going to be like max 2 m long and aprox 1 m wide.
