May I just say, welcome back Michael Tessler! The force is strong with this jedi. Without sounding hyperbolic, Michael is truly, imho, one of the most knowledgeable Star Wars scholars in the RUclips galaxy and a joy to listen to. Great choice padawan Greg in bringing this man back.
Carrie-Anne Moss is the perfect choice to cast as a Jedi, as an audience our brains come prewired to accept her as a badass that can do amazing things.

If the end of that trailer is an indication of a potential massive fight that we’re going to get with multiple Jedi versus one Sith I am praying to god it is the best shot and choreographed fight sequence I’ve ever seen in Star Wars history.🙏🏻

I think we've seen plenty of multiple Jedi vs one Sith. While I love the troupe, I woulda loved to have seen a true Jedi master go against multiple Sith or Dark Side users.

watching the trailer, I had Matrix vibes going off during the action. That part with Carrie-Anne and the assassin, where the assassin slide back looks like something from the fight between mr Anderson and Neo in the subway station. I like.
The korean Actor is Lee Jung Jae, from Squid Game and other great korean classics. I really hope they dont fumble this.

I've been looking forward to this since the original announcement of it being called a "crime thriller," and I'm so glad they've stuck with that tone. The lighting (at least in this trailer) looks great and leagues above Ahsoka in my opinion, it looks like there's some actual sets as well, the production quality looks high, etc. I can only hope that the story is good, cause everything else is just what I'm looking for!

I’m 50/50 with this show tbh I’m glad it takes place 100 years before the prequels so it’s got a lot of freedom to explore new characters and new stories we’ve never seen before but I’m mostly concerned with how these characters will be written and how they will portray the Jedi at there highest and the Sith in hiding slowly seeping their way into the corruption of the republic that will eventually lead into the Jedis downfall.

I'm just hoping that what we saw wasn't a sith but rather a fallen jedi or, as the show is titled, an acolyte of the sith order. Because in the phantom menace, they mention that a sith hasn't been seen for 1000 years before maul came in
There were sith before Maul. Only that the Jedi weren't aware. I think these are dark force users probably being guided by Darth Tenebrus without revealing himself, who knows.

I'll be honest I'm mainly watching this for Dafne Keen and was kind of miffed she had only 2 sec. of screentime in the trailer. Overall on the fence about how invested I'll be in the story but it might be interesting to see Carrie Ann Moss as a Jedi. Had no idea she was in this
All of these Jedi have to die, otherwise there's no way to explain "The Sith have been extinct for a millennia" in TPM. Still, even if they all die, you'd think ONE of them would notify someone the Sith were back, which means this is likely just another canon-destroying crapfest just like the Obi-Wan series.

I hope this does well and that they're encouraged to adapt more from the High Republic. It's honestly weird how little they used from that era, with how crazy the events of the books and comics are.
I might just check this out since I haven't watched any Star Wars since The Last Jedi. The only reason why... is they have Carrie Ann Moss in it. Love her as Trinity in Matrix, so will give this show a try.
It certainly LOOKS good right now. But now to wait and see if the STORY is actually good. Been very lackluster from Star Wars over the last several years.

There are other prequel Era jedi that are alive during the high republic other than yoda. Yarael poof, oppo rancisis, Tera sinube (who we see is dead in kenobi), and yaddle to name a few.
Hopefully this turns out amazing and there no complaints for this show but we shall see.

Hmmm.... looks great, but I'm concerned.
It's stated in Episode 1 that "the Sith have been extinct for a millenium."
So, this must be more than 100 years prior to the Skywalker Saga.
OR the threat is not the Sith.
OR the writing will have to be very creative to the point of a possibly grim, bleak ending to the series. In other words, anyone who could alert the council/republic/etc is killed before they can do so.
Or am I totally missing something?
That is three entirely feasible suggestions though. A sith saber could be a maguffin for a dark-side wannabe, and 'no surviving witnesses' is also a perfectly viable story approach.
