The electrical system needs to be checked for electrical leakage. All of the underwater running gear had a pink color to it. This is called dezincification which is what happen to bronze when electricity is flowing in or out of the boat.

Thanks for commenting. In this case it was actually reddish primer under the actual antifouling paint.
