Yes! Motivation is the hardest thing in the winter months I think. I'm already struggling with that here in the states. I have all the gear I need to ride when it's cold and snowy, but the motivation isn't the same as when I can just throw bib shorts and short sleeves on and go. I feel like there is so much more planning required to ride when it's cold out, and it's hard to get motivated to go do it.
I was a single working dad whose daughter lived with me 100% of the time when she was 13 to 18 years old. I had to learn this: The better my rest and nutrition were, as well as the better I balanced my job and home responsibilities, and time for me and her, the better I became at caring for her in those teenage years. Blessings as you nourish yourself ... for her sake. KB
Where I live I look forward to the winter as summer is serve storms ⛈️ and heat humidity. So it’s more indoor in summer and outdoor in winter. I actually fear the summer these days 😊
Off road is so much more fun in the winter. Personally I stay warmer as it’s more technical than road miles. Also… Cross is Boss!!! Well it was until I picked up this knee injury. Hoping to be back for the last two rounds.
Good on you mate! Randomness is fine. My daughter is autistic and we find strategies to help her cope. We're all a bit spectrummy i reckon. You put together great videos and thanks for that. 😂
Hi David really enjoying the videos. I’m looking at the Marin Headlands - is the size guide on their website accurate? I’m 5ft 11 so they recommend a 56cm frame but just wondered what your experience was with the sizing of their frames
Hiya, I’d say it’s pretty accurate. I’m 6ft 1 and ride an 56. The chart says I’m at the bottom end of 58 so opted for a slightly smaller frame with a longer stem.
I love watching your videos cos I live locally. But. I don't agree with all the public footpath riding where it's not allowed. You've been told off by the Park Rangers before. Reign it in or edit it out, you're giving us local riders a bad name.

On the next ride that’s for sure.

@ cheers Dave that’s helpful to know think I’ll go for 56
You could be riding where I live here in the States. Presently it's 26 degrees Fahrenheit with a wind chill factor of 12 degrees. Winter in Ohio, USA.
A puddle becomes a pond past a certain size. To be a stream it has to flow (and then if you're really unlucky it becomes a river and you are stuffed).
What about waterproof socks, I use them all winter they block out the wind and keep my feet dry.
My feet sweat too much in them. I do love an overshoe though
🚴🌊🥶🤪💪👍
🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
try the Win wing ass saver and waterproof socks!!! You'll thank me later🤘🏻
👍🏼👌🏼🤘🏽

Thanks for your concern but this time I had permission from the park rangers 👍🏼
